Chapter 2

Graces POV

I walked into the fire house for my second shift at 51.

I have a bit of a headache after last night with Kelly I think I drank to much.

I walked to my locker and got dressed and headed to the common room for breakfast.

I walked into the common room and I was eating my breakfast when Gabbys brother came into the station to talk to me about Derrick we went into the meet room and talk about what happened last shift and what happened at my other house 17. once we finished I shook his hand and said

"thank you for your help"

"No problem it is my job. I will get back to you with more information but if anything happens call me and don't talk to him it could make things worse" he walked out and left the house to look at my case

I went into the common room when Mill said "Severide wants to talk to you, he said for you to go to his office"

Everyone wolf whistled I said "thanks" and went to go see Kelly

Severides POV

I was in my office when there was a knock at the door I said come in it was Grace. she said
"Hello Lieutenant, Mills said you need to speak to me?"

"Ohh yeah close the door please" she closed the door and say on my bed " I was wondering last night was great did you want to go on a proper date? Like dinner?"

She said "absolutely"

I was over the moon she said yes because I like her so much!

*1 week later*
Graces POV

Me and Kelly have been dating for just over a week and last night he asked me to be his girlfriend I said yes because I loved him, no one knows yet we have decided to keep it a secret for a while.

I am still getting call from stupid ass Derrick and Gabbys brother is helping me out with the situation he say he can get arrested but he needs to call one more time for that to happen but I have to answer it with someone near me and recording it so we can show Dawson's brother. Everyone knows this so if he does call me they can e ready to help and all that, I am so glad I moved to 51 I have such great friends hear who are so supportive and caring.

I was lying down on a bed when I get a phone call and it is from Derrick no one is around that I can see then I see Kelly and he looks at me wondering who is calling I say Derrick he leads me into his office so he can be there and record the call before I answered it he said "everything will be ok I am here squeeze my hand do whatever you need to get through the call I don't mind if you kiss or hug me whatever" he said with a grin

I answered the call

*phone call*

I said "Hi Derrick what do you want?? With an annoyed tone

He replied saying " I was just calling to say that if you don't retract that statement on me I will personally kill you slowly so it hurts and so on"

I squeezed Kelly's hand so tight when he said that he rubbed my back to let me know he is here to support me

I said " I am not retracting that statement because it is true and you do not boss me around." On the verge of tears

He said " you are going to wish you retract that statement! you have twenty four hours if you want to change your mind . Goodbye" he ended the call

I started balling my eyes out Kelly just hugged me and whispered sweet loving things in my ear and kissed my lips and then said "we need to tell everyone and call Dawson's brother right now!"

We called Dawson's brother

*phone call*

Rings 5 times

"Hello. this is detective Dawson"

Hi Dawson it's Kelly"

Hey Kelly how can I help?"

"Um I thought we should let you know because I am with Grace but Derrick called Grace and said she had to retract her statement on her in 24 hours or he will kill her" Kelly said into the

"Ok did you record it?"

"Yep we did but what do we do about Grace ?"

"Ok Kelly I need you to make sue someone is with her 24/7 and tell everyone at the 51 about the phone and then I will be down in 1 hour to sort thing out." Dawson said

"Ok will do thanks Dawson" Kelly said

"No probs see you soon."

Kelly kissed you and said "we need to tell everyone so they know meet me in the common room and we will speak to them about it I am going to see chief first."

"Ok see you soon" and I kissed him ad left to go to the common room

Kelly's POV

I walked into the chiefs office and asked if we could redirect calls for the next hour because I need to explain something to the house about Grace and I explained the story he was shocked and said "sure I will do that right now."

I walked into the common room to see everyone there i asked "can I have everyone's attention please". Everyone turned to face me

"Ok now I just thought I should let you all know on Graces behalf but we got a call from that Derrick and threatened Graces life we have called Dawson's brother and he said someone needs to be with her 24/7 to make sure she isn't hurt or killed is everyone happy to help"

Everyone nodded and said they are willing to help.

Graces POV

* 1 hour later*

Dawson's brother turned up to the station to speak to me and Kelly he explained that there will be cops around the ire station and my house and then so on...........
