The Proposal

Chapter 23

Noah's POV

Getting up early my only thoughts are of Bella. I start getting my plan together. Now I am just waiting on her call to let me know she is home. I got some of my friends to do a few things for me so everything I plan will go off without a hitch. At 8:20 I get a call from Bella saying she is home. I tell her to dress " dressy" casual and I put all my planning in motion. Calling my friend Stan I let him know to be ready and that the plan was a go. I rush out and get in my car heading to Bella's with a smile on my face.

I reach Bella's at 8:40 and knock on the door. Bella opens the door and my God she looks amazing in her little green sundress and her enticing smell of vanilla and brown sugar makes my mouth water.

"You look amazing Bella" I say as I pull roses from behind my back handing them to her. Her eyes light up.

"How did you know that black roses were my favorite?"

"It's a secret and I'll never tell " I say grinning at her. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yes, where are we going "' she asks as she closes and locks her door. I take her hand in mine and walk her to the passenger seat of the car opening the door letting her slide into the seat.

"It's a surprise" I say as I lean in buckling her up and softly kissing her lips. I close the door and jog to the other side hopping into the drivers seat and setting out.

"Seriously where are we going Noah?"

Seriously it's a surprise " I say laughing. She pouts and tries to give me puppy dog eyes.

"Please?"

"Nope not going to work" I say shaking my head. "Get comfortable we have a little bit of a drive. I have snacks and drinks in the cooler if you want you can even take a nap." She lets out a huff and rolls her eyes "Fine I'll take a nap I didn't sleep good last night I had to much wine."

In about 5 mins she was out. I used my controls on the car and let her seat back so she would be more comfortable. Reaching in the back seat I grabbed a blanket and pulled up to the front to place on her. Ever so often I would steal glances at her sleeping form . She looked so peaceful and innocent. After about 2 hrs I pulled into our destination and parked the car.

"Wake up sleepy head" I say soothingly as I run my hand through her hair. She slowly opens her eyes and looks around.

"OMG you brought me to Biltmore Estates? You remembered what I said?" She bounced up and down in her seat like a little girl with a smile plastered on her face.

"I remember everything you say." She looks at me shyly with a cute grin on her face.

"You paid that much attention to what I said? How come?"

"I told you I wanted to get to know you Bella" I say as I stroke her cheek with my hand. Her cheeks turn pink. God she looks beautiful. I tilt her chin up and towards me as my mouth descends down to hers. I gently kiss her pink plump lips and lick across her lips asking for entrance. She opens her mouth and my tongue darts in. Our tongues intertwine with each other in a sultry dance for dominance. A low moan escapes her throat as my hand fists her hair. She wraps her arms around my neck letting her hands play with my hair at the base of my neck. I pull back to look into her beautiful blue eyes.

"I think we better stop or we won't get to see the Estate and I know you said it's been awhile since you been here so let's go." Groaning a little she kisses me one last time and pulls away. I jump out of the car and open her door helping her to her feet we head in to Biltmore. We have a great time walking around and exploring. I paid for a very private tour and we got to see things that other guests never get to see. Bella was over the moon over the tour.

"I can't believe you got us in on a private tour. I am shocked. Even daddy couldn't get us in the last time we came. " She is like a little kid, hopping and running and just the looks on her face is like a kid in a candy store. She grabs my hand pulling me along, this side of her is making me feel even more. I just want to protect and love her. I don't ever want to see her sad or hurt. We finish our tour and it's about 1 so my next plan Stan is bringing. We head out of the Estate and head to a special place I had reserved on the grounds . As we get to the place I notice Stan has set everything up. Bella stops in her tracks.

"Is this a picnic for us?"

"Yes Bella, just us . No one will bother us here. I set it up with the Estate and they allowed us to have a private place to have lunch." I take her and help her sit down on the blanket and I sit down next to her. Pulling the food from the basket and popping the cork on the wine we enjoy our meal just talking and laughing.

"I can't believe you have done all this."

"We aren't done yet" I say as I take a sip of my wine.

"What's next then?"

"Well next we are wine tasting at the vineyard here. I believe you told me you weren't old enough to do that part last time you were here, but that you wanted to." She smiles and dips her head. I can tell she is feeling a little shy.

"I really can't believe you paid that much attention to what I have told you."

"I can't believe you would think I wouldn't " I laugh and kiss her cheek. "The foods done and when your ready we'll head to the tasting."

"I'm ready" she smiles and grabs my hand and leads the way to the vineyard.
