Olivia wiped the sweat off her forehead as she came to halt. It's been a while since she got a good early morning run in, and what better time to do it than a beautiful Sunday morning. She took in the light quietness of the presidential park. D.C. was never quiet, but you come at the right time on a Sunday you just might be able to hear yourself think.

She needed this, her life took a huge turn lately, and her mind never stopped. Even though the thought of Fitz, sends butterflies through her entire body, it didn't erase the fact, she got involved with a married man, and she deals with that guilt. All that aside, she also was trying to wrap her head around this. She's never felt like this before, and she had no idea what that meant. It was a lot. The situation, despite getting easier, was a lot.

Nonetheless thinking about the positives to it still made her smile, and feel like a little girl. She looked at her phone. 8.00 am. Then came the text.

Fitz: Hi Livvie, you're probably asleep, I hope you are, you deserve rest. Enjoy your morning, call me when you can, I miss your voice.

She shook her head, with a small smile plastered across her face. Even through text he knew how to make her feel special. She decided to just call him now. Since she was making her way back home, she could use some chit chat.

"Liv?"

"Hi."

"You're up? It's so early? What are you doing, go back to sleep!" He laughed.

"I've been awake for a while now mister! I'm on my way back from a run actually."

"Oh so now you're making me feel extra lazy. I really should be running too."

"Are you kidding. Okay replica of thor." She teased. "You Olivia Pope, are ridiculous."

"And you think I'm pretty cool anyway."

"I'll admit that. I will. How are you doing?"

"I'm great. I had a really nice time last night, it made me really happy."

His heart soared at her words. He felt himself smile to himself. "Me too. You have no idea Liv."

"You're sweet."

"Come over, we can have breakfast." He suggested. "I'm gross, I'm sweating."

"Definitely don't come over then." He said simply, his bluntness making her laugh. "I'm kidding shut up and get your cute little self over here."

"How about I go home, shower reaaaaaal quick, then come over."

"You are so dramatic, I just know you're so angelic in your existence that you probably don't even sweat."

"Oh you say that but call me dramatic." She rolled her eyes.

"Fine go shower, I'll just wait ever so patiently."

"How will you ever survive?"

"Who knows, I'll do some deep soul searching. Try and get used to my new normal." He joked.

"And that is?"

"Having to deal with Olivia Pope showering when I miss her."

"You are so annoying." She laughed.

"I joke, I joke. Take your time Livvie, how about I come collect you and we can go somewhere for breakfast? Not a date don't worry, just friends having breakfast."
