Chapter 7
Aria's POV
Weeks passed and I've been very busy about school works and stuff, but Abi and I goes to Casper's house to meet him and his friends every Saturday. I'm glad Abi seems to like Casper and is comfortable with his friends. I can say we're all very close now and we started to call ourselves 'the gang'. Casper and I? Well the gang already knows we like each other and of course I know and he knows that we like each other. We act like we're together, but we're not together yet. Complicated I know, right?
So today's saturday and here I am on my way to Casper's house.
I was glad because my mom lets me use her car today because she had nothing to do and she wants to stay at home all day.
I knocked his house and Casper opened the door.
"Hey Casper," I greeted him.
"Hey, Aria" he said.
"Where are they?" I asked.
"They're in my room," he replied.
"Is Abi already here?" I asked as I entered his house and went upstairs,"
"No, she's not yet here," he replied
I took my phone and called Abi to ask her where she is. She haven't called me since morning and that's so not her. "Hello?" She answered. Her voice sounded like she's very sick.
"Hey Abi, where are you? The gang's here," I replied.
"I can't come. I'm sick," she said and sniffs.
"What really? Hold on, I'm coming," I said. I did not wait for her answer so I ended the call.
"Hey Casper. I'm really sorry but I need to go to Abi's because she needs my help," I said.
"Okay sure, call me okay?" He said.
"Sure. Bye! Enjoy the day," I said and gave him a hug.
I went back to my mom's car and went to Starbucks first to buy coffee for Abi and I.
As soon as I arrived at her house, I parked the car infront of their house and rang the doorbell.
Her mom opened the door and I greeted, "hey Mrs. Johnson! Is Abi here?"
"Hey Aria. Glad you came because she actually needs a friend right now," she said.
"Why?" I asked.
"They broke up,"
"What?!" I shouted.
"There's no way they broke up that fast," I continued.
"I thought so too. But dear, everything happens for a reason," she replied.
"I know," I said and smiled at her.
"She's upstairs. Make yourself at home," she said.
"Thanks mrs. Johnson," I replied.
I went upstairs and I knocked at Abi's room.
"I'm not hungry, mom" she said.
"No silly. It's me, Aria." I said.
She did not reply so I just opened her door and there she was., 2 boxes of tissue beside her, looking like a dead zombie even it's already given that a zombie is dead, fashion disaster, and seems like her hair is much more messier than her life.
"Which is messier, your hair or your life?" I asked.
"Shut up," she replied as she wipes her tears using a tissue.
