Love After Death

This Is Goodbye

3 days before Kris disappeared the two came back home. Violet never left Kris' side nor did his and her parents. Violet could not bear to see her husband in pain,he was bleeding non stop and no matter what they did the blood wouldn't clot.
"Violet.....",utter Kris
"I'm here",said Violet climbing on the bed.
"Stay with me.......till..."
"I'll never leave you",said Violet.
Tears ran down her pale face,she held Kris' hand tightly. She tried to keep her composure and stayed strong.
"Andrew give us some privacy", order Violet.
"Yes, Ma'am",said Andrew politely.
Andrew led the others to the living room and served them tea so as to help them keep cool and calm.
Meanwhile in the bedroom:
                                                "You must remember that......"
"Don't speak",said Violet,"You should save your strength".
Kris grabbed both of Violet's hand and held them tightly. He gathered up all his strength and kissed her.
"Listen....to me....",he said,"You must remember.....that.... I will always be with you......and...and I will always love you...you will....you will never be alone".
COUGH....COUGH.
Violet smiled and laid down on Kris' chest as she lay there she fell asleep.
Time passed and a sudden jerk woke her up.
"Are you ok?", asked Violet,"Does it hurt somewhere".
"Mother....father....my dear sister.... I'm.... I'm ready...",said Kris.
Violet let go of Kris' hand and was getting off the bed,bit Kris grabbed her and held her tightly.
"Let me look at you....for just one more time".
Violet hugged Kris and sobbed.
"I'm here",she said,"Hold me tighter".
Kris hugged her even tighter as she sobbed on his chest.
Then he started to fade away slowly, Violet could feel him fading but refused to let him go. In her sorrow and grief she heard him say Goodbye My Love, Remember What I Said,she opened her eyes and found herself hugging a blanket.
Kris had paid his price for Life and Violet paid her price for Love.
