Chapter 10: Deal with Beomgyu

August, 29, 1900

Author's POV

The gang was walking towards Beomgyu's Office, and no one was talking. You can already hear the crickets in the background, just doing their own thing. The laughter that they had earlier, was now gone.

All the smiles were also gone. As if everything is back to being serious. They were all just minding their own businesses. Nothing special. Nothing at all. But, you can hear their heartbeats going faster by the moment.

Once, they reached the place Yeonjun quickly approached the door and knocked on it door.

You can hear the muffled voice inside the room, saying. "Who is it?" The voice said, asking them.

"It's Yeonjun. And I already got Ryujin for you... But, some people decided to tag along with us." Yeonjun said, and quickly glanced at both Taehyun and Chaeryeong.

"It's only Taehyun and Chaeryeong right?" Beomgyu said, asking Yeonjun.

"Yeah..." Yeonjun said, agreeing with it.

"Okay... Come in..." Beomgyu said, giving Yeonjun and the others permission to enter.

All of them went inside the place, just to see Beomgyu, very serious looking. Standing, in front of his desk, which a box was on top of it. The newly arrived guests were very confused, because of it.

The newly arrived guests looked around, for a bit. Since, they haven't been here for three days. Well, let's say that it's for Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Taehyun. Because, this is where Yeji and Yeonjun spend most of their time here.

"Ryujin..." Beomgyu started, while looking at Ryujin.

Ryujin quickly looked over at him, with a very confused looked plastered onto her face. Beomgyu, was still looking at her very serious.

"Since when?" Beomgyu asked Ryujin.

"Since when, what?" Ryujin asked Beomgyu.

"You know what I mean! You kept it from us! No. From me!" Beomgyu shouted at Ryujin in anger.

Ryujin was taken aback, since she isn't used to seeing Beomgyu this mad or furious.

"I didn't mean to hide it from you." Ryujin said and looked away from him.

"Oh, really?" Beomgyu started.

"Then, why am I the only one who doesn't know about this!" Beomgyu demanded.

"What do you mean, you're the only one who doesn't know about this?! Even Yeonjun oppa doesn't know about this!" Ryujin protested back at him.

Beomgyu looked over at Yeonjun, and raised an eyebrow at him. Asking him, whether he does or not.

"I do know... But, it's because I'm the guard of this idiotic prince here. I have to make sure that everybody who gets close with Beomgyu here isn't a threat." Yeonjun said, while closing his eyes, and sat down on the couch.

"Why would you do that?! Don't you trust us? I mean I know that royal guards are supposed to be on guard whenever there's trouble near the royal. But, I never knew that you would stoop that low!" Ryujin shouted at them.

"I'm just doing my Job Ryujin." Yeonjun said, glaring at Ryujin.

"I know. So, it's also your job to talk to your Prince and take orders. But, instead you were sent here by the Queen and the First Prince to look after Beomgyu. While, Yeji eonni is the one who should've been doing those. So, you have no actual right to do those things." Ryujin said, while looking at Yeonjun.

"What? How did you know about that?" Yeonjun asked.

"If you didn't know as the First Princess of our kingdom I have to be independent especially when it comes to checking backgrounds of people, I'm not familiar with." Ryujin said.

"But, you're no longer a Princess! How can you such high classified information?!" Yeonjun shouted at Ryujin. While, Ryujin just shrugged it off.

"Okay. That's enough." Beomgyu said, ordering them both.

"Just answer my question Ryujin." Beomgyu said.

"I told you already. I was going to tell you, when you weren't busy anymore. But, then this came in the picture. So, became much more confusing." Ryujin said.

"I know that I did something wrong, but I don't why was I still summoned here." Ryujin said.

"Ah. Right. It's because of your sister. Nobody has seen her as her usual self." Beomgyu said. Which, made Ryujin shock.

"What?" Ryujin asked, while frowning.

"You heard me right, Ryujin." Beomgyu said which made her frown bigger.

"What's the matter Ryujin?" Beomgyu asked.

"Beomgyu... I know it's too much... But, can you please do me a favor?" Ryujin asked Beomgyu.

"It depends on it..." Beomgyu said, while crossing his arms.

"I just want to know what room my sister is in..." Ryujin said.

And it made everybody in the room look at her direction, in shock.

"Really? That's all? You do know that I can give you much more right?" Beomgyu asked Ryujin.

"Yeah... But, I just want to see Yuna again... I haven't been able to see her, due to you guys being busy with Royal stuff... And, what you said earlier is making me much more worried for her." Ryujin said, while shrugging.

"Okay... I'll escort you to her room... Be thankful that I was actually paying attention to the tour of the Castle although I already know the layout of it." Beomgyu said, while taking a sigh.

Beomgyu, went over the door and opened it for her, gesturing her that she should go outside already. Which, she happily did.

Yep. We're already at chapter 10. Plus, both Chapter 10 & 11 are really short because I'm mentally preparing myself on how to write the chapters that requires something very big.
