    One year pass.

Jimin's parents left shortly after the news got out that their son is sinning. Jimin was devastated for months, but with Jungkook and Jungkook's parents' help, he is slowly healing. Minsuh and Byeong-su became something similar to Jimin's own parents. Parents who support him for who he is and who he loves.

Of course, it took a long time for Minsuh and Byeong-su to get used to their son with another boy, and still is today. The two younger had to keep down the display of affection, being in their presence, and they did so without complaints, just happy to be in their presence at all.

Shortly after Jimin and Jungkook graduated in the spring, the two boys moved to Seoul to escape the judgement of the small religious town. Seoul is not much better, but at least they could be left in peace, knowing no one.

Jungkook and Jimin had told Taehyung about them before the move, and he was not very positive to it, seeing as he is a passionate believer, but he didn't despise the idea either. You see, Taehyung is also a passionate believer in love, so if Jungkook and Jimin are this in love, that they are willing to risk anything for each other, Taehyung felt the need to support that. Jungkook felt beyond happy that they would be staying in contact.

Jimin and Jungkook both started looking for further education in Seoul that summer.

Now, Jungkook is making his dreams of starting his own company, a music producing company to be exact, come true. He started cooperating with a male named Min Yoongi on the side of his studies, and they are making big progress in starting a successful record label and talent agency one day.

Jimin has started working on his dream to become a dancer and is working harder than ever. He has big trials every month to get his degree. This is stressful for Jimin, but he is doing the thing he loves to do and that makes it more than worthwhile. This also makes Jungkook happy, getting to watch Jimin dance on a daily basis. It ends up with them making love almost every time, with the exception of when Jimin's partner, Hoseok, is there, but neither are complaining.

It is currently christmas, and Jimin and Jungkook are on their way back home to celebrate the holiday with their family and friends.

"You ready to meet everyone, love?" Jungkook asks, a smile on his face as he drives onto the familiar streets of his hometown.

"Yeah... I've missed them so much." Jimin says, putting his hand over Jungkook's that is resting on his thigh.

Jungkook glances at him, beaming, "Me too."

They pull into the driveway, seeing two cars there. Jimin recognizes one as Minsuh and Byoeng-su's, and the other as his best friend's and grins. Namjoon has decided to celebrate christmas at the Jeons' house every other year, seeing as they are like a second family to him with Jimin there.

"Namjoon is already here!" Jimin says, excitement radiating from him.

Jungkook nods, smiling as big as Jimin, "Come on."

They get out of the car and intertwine their hands, walking up to the front door.

Jungkook knocks, and a moment later, Minsuh is opening the door with a big smile.

"Jungkook-ah!" She exclaims, pulling her son into a tight hug.

    Jungkook chuckles, "Hi, eomma."

"Jiminie, you are more beautiful than last time I saw you." Minsuh fusses as she has pulled away from her son.

Jimin hugs her and smiles, "Thank you, eomma..."

"Come in!" The older woman calls, pulling them inside.

In the kitchen, Byeong-su is scolding Namjoon for still not knowing how to cut vegetables, even though he has shown him how to do it all of the times he has stayed with them.

"Joonie!" Jimin exclaims, jumping on his best friend.

"I've missed you, Jiminie." Namjoon says, hugging the shorter male tightly.

    "Me too." Jimin says happily.

"Hi, appa." Jungkook says while hugging his father.

Jimin releases Namjoon to greet Byeong-su and Jungkook hugs Namjoon.

A little later, Taehyung is arriving from having celebrated with his family and the evening proceeds with lots of laughter and love.

Jimin finds himself content with his life, like this is exactly where he is meant to be. Not even once does his thoughts wander to the loss of his parents. His heart is right here, with Jungkook, and the people he knows would never willingly hurt him.

Jungkook can't take his eyes off of Jimin the whole night, seeing solely happiness emitting from his lover. He hasn't seen it for a while, and it looks gorgeous on him.

At the end of the evening, when Taehyung has gone home, Minsuh is helping Namjoon to fix up the guest room and Byeong-su is cleaning up the mess of dishes and wrapping paper, Jimin and Jungkook sneak out to go for a short walk under the starlit winter sky.

"You seem happy." Jungkook states, smiling adoringly as Jimin is beaming down at their intertwined hands.

"I am happy." Jimin says, looking up at Jungkook, his eyes glittering with life.

Jungkook can't resist the urge to kiss him, so he does, pecking the smaller's lips quickly.

Jimin it a little surprised of the sudden action, never getting used to the incendiary feeling of Jungkook's lips on his. Like fate decided that it wants to repeat itself, he loses his balance and slips on the wet, frozen ground.

Luckily, Jungkook's reflexes are just as efficient as always and he is quick to pull Jimin back up against his chest.

"This seems familiar..." Jungkook trails, smiling fondly.

"It does." Jimin giggles, brushing his nose against Jungkook's.

"We were so confused. "Jungkook laughs, remembering how he had stopped himself from kissing Jimin out of fear of the unknown.

Jimin laughs with him, remembering how he was frozen in place, heart racing from how unfamiliar the feelings were back then.

"Well, I'm not confused anymore. Are you, Jungkookie?" Jimin says with questioning eyebrows, pointing a finger into Jungkook's coat over his chest.

Jungkook grins at his boyfriend's playfulness, "No, Minnie..." he says and leans in to do what he hadn't dared to do that day, capturing the lips belonging to the love of his life.

"...nothing has ever been clearer than this."
