"I did my best to be supportive girlfriend despite how hard it was for us to spend time together. But this date, we had planned two weeks earlier, Jeongguk! Now you tell me you're with Taehyung? What the hell is this?!"
The talk between the two lovers took a while. Jeongguk's smiling faded when Ji Yeon found out about him outs with Taehyung; The two of them exchanged heated conversations and time flew by when Jeongguk thought he needed to get back to Taehyung.
"Ji Yeon, baby, I'm really really sorry. But I need to go now. Can we meet up later? Please, I'm begging you-"
"No. There is no way I can hold on for this long! You’re going to have to fix this mistake on your own. I'm backing out, I can't take this anymore. Go and have fun with Taehyung or whoever you want!" Ji Yeon said furiously.
"Baby, please my love. I can assure you that I genuinely forgotten about it. It's just that, he has no one to look after him, Mrs Kim got admitted and Taehyung is left alone- he's so poor thing,"
"Oh, please, Jeongguk. I'm sick and done with your waiting games. Your explanation means nothing to me, maybe it’s better for you to go and date Taehyung instead of me since it's your birthday today! Now if you’ll excuse me, and stop calling me again."
Jeongguk completely speechless. My birthday? Ah, shucks! He sigh, “Are you sure about this? I will stop calling you if that's.. what you want,"
Once Jeongguk ends the call, he turns but Taehyung has disappeared to nowhere. His heartbeat rising fast as he skipped down around the parks, still he didn't found him.
He was so exhausted, so he stops from running. First it was the argument with Ji Yeon. Then now he has to look around for the boy. How can I actually forget a double date together with Eunice and Eunwoo?? He facepalm himself.
Here he is, having an outing, bicycle ride with Taehyung. Now he totally felt bad for not putting his girlfriend as the first priority. He had mixed feeling about this, he wasn’t sure how he was going to move on. Is this really the end of their relationship?
Suddenly there's a voice comes from his left. He heard sobs and someone calling out for Yoongi. His heart feels like it’s racing a thousand miles a minute as he went speed to the sounds of cries.
He gasp when he saw trembling Taehyung, eyes swollen due to non stop of crying for help, probably. Jeongguk rushes over, kneels next to him and he saw dried blood staining Taehyung's hands while holding his left legs.
Jeongguk kissed Taehyung's head, and cupped his left cheeks, bruises color his skin already. "Are you feeling okay?" Taehyung just nodded, though it was obvious he wasn't.
