Since that day.... Taehyung has been wandering over to the hallway, lobby lift, receptionist area just to catch a glimpse of that doctor.

Every morning, afternoon, everytime after treatment, forgetting that he's weak after chemo sessions. He would get scolded by the nurses often but when they left he quickly sneak out from the room after putting on his brother thick sweater.

Without anyone knew of his tricks, it has been going on for seven months actually! Almost half a year his staycation in the hospital, and yet he did not get the chance to speak to the doctor.

It's not that doctor Jeon is too busy, Taehyung is the one too shy to come upfront. Everytime he tried to step forward there's something that pulls him back.

Sometimes with little hesitation, Taehyung would run forwards and rushed to the doctor, but even before the doctor able to turn his back, Taehyung already run into the nearest corner to hide himself.

Everytime, Taehyung walk back and forth by the corridor hallway and he would went in and out of the waiting room area...

But Taehyung wasn't the one to give up so soon. He thought, just by looking from afar enough to make him happy the whole day! Enough to make him become energetic.

He swore everything about that particular doctor was just perfect. By now, he already knew the doctor scents, he smells so good it's to Taehyung liking, smells fresh like ocean breeze.

He even knew the footsteps of doctors passing by belong to whom, the color of his stethoscope is green, the timing of his arrival, literally everything about doctor Jeon Jeongguk, Taehyung knows.

He never seem to grow tired behaving that way. He never told anyone about this, yet, because of anxiety and fear that's why he kept to himself. He just confidently hundred percent knew that doctor save him from dying of boredom.

Taehyung scooted his way out from the room and walked to the counter, having to wait as usual for the appearance of his favourite person, his crush, his lifesaver.

"What can I get you today, Taehyungie? Since you're a good boy and taking your medicines so well, noona will treat you to anything you want!"

"Uhhh.. Noona, I don't see doctor Ggukie this pass few days, where is he?"

"Ggukie? Who?"

"Uhh, Doctor Jeon.."

"Oh! He was transferred to another hospital. Why?"

"When will Ggukie come back?"

"Next year I think!"

"So long?!"

Next year? Taehyung began to bit his lips in thought, overly exaggerating the process of awaiting to see his crush for another year. Next year he turns 22.... will there be enough time for him to confesses his love towards his secret crush?

Taehyung returned back to his room feeling down. His heart did weird skipping beats and he could feel heat rise onto his neck, which eventually spread down over both his chest and face.

He turned off the lights, and laid back down on the bed. He closed his eyes and placed his hand to the spot where his heart was pounding as he snuggled closer into his blankets, not wanting to face reality the next few days to come...
