I was startled awake by a sudden cold breeze. My first reaction was to grab a blanket from the bottom of the bed until all I felt was the faint dew on the grass. After a few seconds everything came back to me.. I've got to quit doing this! looking beside me I saw that Jonas was still sound asleep beside me, he was adorable. His sleeping form gave me a clear view of his flawless face; I was completely entranced by his beauty. The rustling of a can quickly caught my attetion and I pulled my eyes away from Jonas. After I realized it was only an empty Dr. Pepper can from earlier I felt my shoulders slouch back down and release a bit of tension.

Against my will I decided I should wake Jonas up; I really needed to get home before my parents sent out a search party for me. I had absolutely no clue what time it was but, as i gently shook Jonas awake it seemed as if things were going to get a lot more complicated. Instead of waking up like a normal person, Jonas decided to wrap his arm around me and pull me next to his sleeping body. Under other circumstances I may not have complained too much, as for now, I didn't have time to deal with a sleeping Jonas. Wriggling out from his heavy grasp I took the empty Dr. Pepper can and walked to the lake.

I purposely only dropped a tiny bit on Jonas' face to see if he would wake up. Of course, with my luck he did not even budge. Damn he's a heavy sleeper! I poured a decent amount of the cold lake water onto his face and he jolted up. His sudden movements nearly scared me to death and I fell flat on my ass. Well aren't I just one LUCKY girl.. not.

Jonas looked over at me as he heard me fall and let out a low chuckle. "Princess, I thought I was supposed to be the one scared awake, not the other way around."

His raspy sleepy voice had a swarm of butterflies building in my stomach. "Oh shut it! I wouldn't have to scare you awake if you didn't drag me out to the middle of the forest off the path..WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO STAY might I add!" I'll admit.. embarrassing myself in front of Jonas yet again had made me a wee bit upset.

"Princess! Relax, it's alright! I know exactly where we are, I apologize for letting myself doze off, but watching your peaceful sleeping face left me no choice."

This was the first time I hadn't wanted to slap his stupid lopsided smirk off of his face. All I could manage to do was blush and try to hide my smile. "Can we please just go before I give my father a heart attack for being home so late?"

Instead of saying anything back to me Jonas got to his feet and folded the blanket he had put down for our picnic. I placed the two empty Dr. Pepper cans inside the basket he had brought and waited for Jonas to finish. Once he was done I jumped at the sudden contact of his hand grasping mine. He seemed to ignore it and continued holding my hand as he led me out of the forest.

I stumbled along behind him for a few minutes until I regained my balance and tried to match his long strides. As we came up to the camp site and my cabin came into view I was drowning in a pool of my own nerves. I was almost positive my parents were going to kick my ass for getting home at this time of night.

Just as I was about to pull my hand away from Jonas he held on tighter and pulled me close to his chest. In the midst of me glancing up to scream my head off at Jonas for not letting me explain to my parents I was cut short. I immediately shut up as I felt soft lips brush against my own.. my eyes drifted closed as I lifted my head up a bit more for a better kiss. Jonas pressed his lips slightly harder against mine until we heard something beside us.

Jonas' dad stood right behind me...clearing his throat to grab our attention. I felt my cheeks blush what I could only imagine was the brightest shade of red known to man. I pulled my hand out of Jonas' grasp and took a step away from him. Not knowing what else to do I just stood there awkwardly. Jonas walked over to his dad and exchanged a few silent whispers. When Jonas came back to me he had his head hanging low and did not say anything to me except that he was sorry. I told him it was alright and began walking to my cabin after one last glance at his sad, embarrassed eyes.

I felt like I was even more embarrased than Jonas because I hadn't known what to say or do. I just stood there like an idiot! DAMMIT!

Standing in the middle of the cabin was sort of frightening since I was not completely familiar with everything there. I jumped ten feet in the air when my mothers voice rang out calling to me.

"Hey mom, just going to bed! I love you, good night!"

That was WAY too easy my mom never even questioned me before she headed back to bed herself. After calming my speeding heart it jolted once again at a quiet knock at the door. It was Jonas. What the hell could he possibly want?! I opened the door and Jonas took a sudden step towards me; he bent his head down and kissed me once again. I stood rooted in place not knowing what other reaction I could possibly have had.

"I'm sorry Princess, but I coudn't leave you without finishing what I had started."

Jonas turned and walked away from me without another word. I was a statue letting the warm air out if the cabin until a cold gust of air brought me back to reality.

What was Jonas thinking?! We can't have a relationship here when we don't know eachother outside of this campsite!

.......Can we?

~~~~~~~AUTHOR'S NOTE~~~~~~~~~
Funny Story time.. well maybe not.
So this chapter was actually inspired and written after an incident with my boyfriend's parents. My boyfriend and I had been hanging out at the park like we had before, no big deal. EXCEPT this time, my sister had gone and so had one of my boyfriend's friends. After an hour of beign at the park my boyfriend went to check in at home and grab some water for everyone... well his friend had decided to go with him. While my boyfriend had been gettign water his friend had told all of their neighbors that I was at the park. (BIG NO!) A few minutes later my boyfriend came back to the park and mentioned that his neighbors wanted to meet me. Nt thinking too mch about it I said I would go if he wanted me to because I didnt want to be rude. About ten minutes later when my sister and the friend had gone on a walk I was sitting on my boyfriend's lap when his parents decided to walk to the park. (YIKES!) Of course I quickly got off my boyfriend's lap but that did absolutely nothing to hel the awkwardness between us and his parents. It got even worse when both of his parents pulled him to the side to talk to him privately and left me sitting on the swing next to a bunch of neighbors I had never met. Anyways, my boyfriend had thought he was going to be in a lot of trouble and get his phone taken away and stuff.. LUCKILY! His parents felt bad for making me feel uncomfortable and apologized to me AND my boyfriend did not get into any trouble.
ACTUAL Author's Note..
Okay, so we are SUPER sorry for our slow updates! I want to blame our low reading numbers on the fact that we take too long to update, but who knows maybe we just have a bad story going on here. Either way my partener and I will continue updating and writing until we feel there is absolutely no response and it is pointless to contiue writing. For now I enjoy writing to get my mind off of things going on in my life...so I hope you all enjoy this story! If not please give some helpful hints as to what could be changed to make it better!
Also, I'm curious to know if anyone can tell the difference between who is writing since there's two of us??
