Golden Freddy stood up after taking a long nap in the elders' den. As he did, he began to feel very warm and dizzy. His mind began to spin like never before. What was the cause of this? Was it something he ate? It couldn't have been. He had been perfectly healthy all his life.
"Golden Freddy, are you okay," Speckletail asked.
"I'm fine, I'm just fi-", Golden Freddy was unable to finish his sentence before passing out.
Golden Freddy slowly opened his eyes. His breathing was very rasp. He could hear Cinderpelt talking with Freddy.
"I don't know what's wrong with him Freddy," she said.
"He's very warm, and his breathing his very harsh. I'm afraid he isn't going to make it."
Golden Freddy's belly tightened with fear. He was going to die. He didn't want to. He didn't want to leave his family. He wanted to see Fredca grow up.
Don't worry about them, he heard Marionette say. They will be alright.
"But I can't leave them," Golden Freddy whispered.
You'll never leave them. We will always be with them.
Freddy and the others entered the den with sadness in their eyes.
"I guess this is goodbye," Golden Freddy said.
"It's not fair," Freddy said. "Why now?"
"I have lived a long and happy life," Golden Freddy said. "It could never last forever."
"You have taken good care of us," Chica said.
"I know, and I'm very proud you all. Especially you Freddy, you have grown into a brave, powerful hero. And now you are a father of your own. I love you all," Golden Freddy said.
"We love you too, father," Freddy said.
Golden Freddy let out one last breath, and then his body became motionless.
Freddy and the others lowered their heads with grief.
