𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐔𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐃 never been one to follow protocol. He was always the odd-one-out, but he had no control over it. That was just the way he had always been ― even when a toddler, he had always acted without thinking, without control ― no matter what the situation. Although, there was one thing he wished he had control over more than anything.

He wanted to control how he had fallen in love with Kazuya Miyuki.

He wasn't certain when and how he had come to the conclusion, but Eijun couldn't deny that Kazuya was always on his mind. Whether he wanted to practice his pitches or fuming over something Kazuya had called him out on ― teasingly or serious ― he always seemed to be in at least one corner of his brain.

"Would you stop staring at me already? It's kind of freaking me out."

Just like at that moment.

Eijun ducked his head in embarrassment, not aware of how he had just been gawking at Kazuya openly. And within moments, the single slice of pizza on Eijun's plate becoming more interesting than anything else in the arcade. He mumbled out an apology as he mentally kicked himself for getting caught ― and by Kazuya no less.

"Okay, Sawamura. Tell me something." Eijun's eyes slowly rose as he returned his attention to Kazuya, who was leaning his elbows against the table, an eyebrow raised in either curiosity or concern. Eijun wasn't too positive which it was, but it was there without a doubt.

"What?"

He leaned back, crossing his arms and looking at Eijun with squinted eyes. "You've been acting weird this entire time, you know that? And you haven't even touched your food yet when you're usually the first to finish three times as fast as anyone else. So what's got you down?"

Eijun gulped; how could he had been so careless? He wasn't acting like himself at all, and he should have known that if anyone would be able to tell, it would be Kazuya. After all, he was one of the few people that Eijun found himself hanging around with ninety-nine percent of the time.

He tried to wave it off, smiling nervously. "I'm totally fine!" And as to somehow further prove his point, Eijun picked up the piece of pizza on his plate and took a couple of bites, looking anywhere other than directly at Kazuya. He felt as though he just may die from embarrassment.

However, his plan to keep his eyes away from Kazuya came tumbling down around him when he saw the said teenager leaning over the table from the corner of his eye. He didn't even think before turning to see what he was doing, only to be silenced when Kazuya's thumb came into contact with the corner of his mouth.
