"Children! The alarm has rung!" said Reginald strictly, "At this rate, the criminals will have fled the scene!"
The children heaved a collective sigh as they remembered this was a drill. The alarm had always caught them off guard, making everyone jump. This was their life. Constantly on the move for the glory of saving society. Or as Klaus said it, they were, "Not hot, single, scrawny superheroes". No one bothered to even glance at Klaus. He had been doing that since he was born.
"Children?!" Reginald yelled. The children's agitation rose. If they are one foot out of line, they would all get a scolding. No matter whose fault it was.
"WHERE ARE MY KNIVES?" Diego cried out. Unlike the others, he needed a tool in order to use his powers effectively.
"They're in your belt, darling" Grace replied calmly. As a robot, she had an inability to feel emotion, nonetheless, worry. As a mother, however, she did a perfectly good job of comforting the children and baking cookies.
Luther yelled, "Five! That's cheating!" Five promptly teleported to the front of the children, eager to get there first and prove his abilities.
All six children ran to their father who gave them strict orders. They all dispersed throughout the building.
Yet, there was one child left. Hidden in the farthest room on the highest floor. Her name was Vanya Hargreeves. Adopted by the eccentric billionaire because she was born on the same day as the other six. She was also brought from one of the far ends of the globe, just like the other six. Yet, she had no power. She was presumably ordinary. She lived in the shadow of her siblings, high in glory and fame all across the globe. Nobody knew about her, except the people in the Umbrella Academy. And one especially wanted to know about her...
