(Jay's POV)
I arrived at school to see my friends Kai, Zane, Cole and Lloyd and... Nya, I have had a massive crush on Nya since I met her back in first grade. I just haven't had the courage to ask her yet, but I was feeling confident today and I had bought this necklace for her a few days ago when I, hopefully ask her out.
"Hey Jay! How are you today?" Nya said with a smile on her face.
"Oh I uh, I'm g-good N-Nya thank you f-for asking" I said with a faint blush on my face while playing around with my orange scarf.
While I was saying that the others started smirking and giggling about my stuttering, I always stutter when I'm around Nya, and they always joke about it to me for it.
"So J-Jay" Cole said imitating me. "D-Did you f-forget your b-bag again t-today?" He said while trying to hold in a laugh.
I looked down to see my bag missing, only to find that Kai had took if off me.
"Leave him alone guys" Nya said with a bit of an angry tone.
"Ok" Kai said while giving back my bag. "We'll leave you and your Boyfriend to make out"
Then me and Nya started blushing like crazy until she said. "HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND KAI, LEAVE ME ALONE"
I kinda felt a little bit hurt after what she said but she was speaking the truth, Kai and the rest liked to joke about me having a crush on Nya but without her knowing and she always seems to get annoyed about it.
She walked away in a huff, making me a bit angry and upset at the same time. I was angry because of what Kai said, but upset because of what happened to Nya.
"Ok now that she's gone" Cole said. "Jay, is today finally the day you ask her out?"
"I don't know guys" I said while I was playing with me scarf. "What if s-she doesn't l-like me b-back" It hurt me to say it but it was probably true, why would a girl like her go with a nervous wreak like me.
"GUYS" Nya came running back looking absolutely traumatised.
"What is it sis, are you ok?" Kai said a little worried.
"Garmadon, he's back" She said looking horrified while the rest of us stood there and just took in what she said. Garmadon hadn't attacked in months and he decides to do it now?
"Well come on the let's go" Lloyd said with a angry and sad tone. It was always tough to watch Lloyd face his own father for the protection of this city.
"NINJAGO!" We all said as we went down the secret tunnel which lead to our secret base.
We got into our mechs and went off to save Ninjago... Again.
"Jay do you copy" Lloyd said
"I here you loud and clear Lloyd, what's up?"
"Me and you need to try and get to Garmadons Mech and destroy it, you can use your lightning powers and I will use my powers as well to try and deactivate it, right?"
"Ok I will try"
Lloyd told the other to distract Garmadon while we made our way there. "Ok Jay are you ready?" Lloyd said to me.
"Y-yeah, lets do this" I said in a nervous tone as me and Lloyd left our mechs to go face this demon from hell.
Me and Lloyd we're behind one of the walls and the Lloyd said. "Are you sure your ok with this Jay, it's could hurt you or even worse, kill you"
"Yeah I'm fine, if it's worth saving you guys and Ninjago, then it's worth it" I can't believe what I just said but I meant all of it. "But Lloyd, if I were to die, please give this Nya and tell her I love her with all my heart" I handed Lloyd the necklace and note that I was going to give to Nya.
