Chapter 19

Rachel's POV

I walk back into Blackwell and go into the lunch hall. I'm worried about Chloe, hopefully she doesn't do anything too stupid. Dana comes running up to me.
"Omg! What just happened?!" Dana asks freaked out.
"I don't know, but she really scared me." I say to her.
"Yeah, I understand that. Let's just forget about it right now and enjoy our night." She says.
"Yeah okay." I say. The lunch hall was set up like it was when we were at school. Dana and I sit at the table we sat at when we where here. Everyone sits in the place where they would sit. It was weird but kinda awesome.

Dinner finished and I'm now on my way to the junkyard. Throughout dinner people kept asking me about Chloe. I saw Victoria and she gave me a death stare. People were all around making sure she is okay. I roll my eyes at the thought of it. Once I'm at the junkyard I yell out.
"Hey Junkyard queen, where you at?!"
"Uhh, I'm over here." She says, I can't see where she is but I follow the sound of her voice. I finally she her. She is lying on top of the ships helm (the place where the wheel is). I climb up and lie next to her. She puts her arms around me and I put my face in the crook of her neck.
"I'm sorry about everything that happened." She says.
"It's okay, you couldn't control it." I say closing my eyes.
"I love you." She says stroking my hair.
"I love you too." I say. Soon after I fall asleep with her holding me close.

I wake up to the sun shining on my face and Chloe's arms around me. I smile and kiss her on the cheek. She starts to open her eyes. She rubs them then looks at me.
"Morning beautiful." She says then kisses me.
"Good morning." I say with a smile on my face.
"I know there is like 2 more days of this reunion but can we just go home?" She asks with pleading eyes.
"Yeah, I was going to suggest that. I miss Blair." I say.
"Yeah me too." She says and laughs. I laugh too. "So, let's say goodbye to our parents and some friends then leave." She says.
"Okay." I say smiling. She kisses me again then gets up off of the helm. I follow her. We both go back to the hotel and get ready. Once we are ready we go to Joyce's first.

Chloe knocks on the door. David answers.
"Hey Chloe and Rachel, good to see you again. Come in." He greets and moves to let us in. We sit in the living room, Joyce and David join us.
"So, what can we do for you?" Joyce says.
"Actually mom, Rachel and I are going back to California later today." Chloe says.
"Okay, well when will we see you again?" David says.
"Soon." Chloe says with a mysterious look on her face. I have visible confusion on my face. Chloe looks at me and gives me a wink then reassuring smile. I decide to just drop it.
"Alright then. Well miss you until then." Joyce says.
"Well miss you too Joyce, and you David." I say.
"We've got to get going but we'll see you soon." Chloe says getting up. She hugs her mom then David. I get up and hug them too.
"Alright. Goodbye girls." Joyce says.
"Bye mom." Chloe says.
"Bye." I say. We both wave then make our way to my parents house.

I knock on the door and my dad answers. He smiles when he sees us.
"Hello Rachel and Chloe. What brings you back here so soon?" He asks.
"We wanted to say goodbye. We are going back to Cali today." I say. Rose comes to the door.
"Hello girls." She says.
"Hi Rose." Chloe says.
"They are going back to California today and wanted to say goodbye." Dad says.
"Oh, okay, we will see you soon though." Rose says.
"Yes you will." Chloe says smirking.
"Okay, am I missing something?" I say laughing.
"Nope, not yet." Chloe says.
"Alright, well goodbye." Chloe says.
"Goodbye." Dad says as he hugs me then Chloe. Rose does the same. We walk away from the house and start walking to Blackwell again.

Chloe's POV

We get Blackwell and Dana comes over like usual. I need to speak to her actually.
"Hey Dana, could I speak to you for a second?" I ask. She looks at me with a confused face and Rachel looks confused too.
"Sure thing Chloe." Dana says and I pull her away from Rachel. When we get far enough away I start talking.
"So, I'm gonna propose to Rachel in a few days. We are leaving later today." I say.
"Wow, you just get it over with. Don't you?" She laughs.
"Yes, now. I need you to help me pick out a ring for her." I say with a serious look on my face.
"Omg! Of course I'll help." She squealed.
"For fucks sake Dana. Keep your voice down." I scolded her.
"Sorry." She apologises.
"It's okay. I will text you when we can meet and stuff like that." I say.
"Alright." She says then we both walk back over to Rachel. Rachel says goodbye to all of her friends and I say goodbye to mine. We go to the hotel get our stuff then get on the next plane to California.
