You were currently a first year at Karasuno high. Being best friends with Hinata since you were 2 also had an impact on why you chose Karasuno. Another plus about being the tangerines best friend was you got to see him obsess over the Little Giant and pursue his passion all through middle school and now the first year of high school. You went to all his practices and games no matter what. Currently Hinata was talking to Kageyama about how they could improve his quick, Tsukishima was doing drills to work on his blocks, Tanaka was flirting with Kiyoko, and Daichi and Suga trying to pry him off of her. ' Some things will never change huh?' you thought. One thing that caught your attention was how quiet it was despite Tanaka yelling like a crazy person, and Nishinoya wasn't there. ' where could he be? He was here earlier today i saw him walking down the halls, we even talked about him being the Libero.' you wondered. Asahi then walked into the gymnasium and started talking quietly to Suga and Daichi. You got up and walked over to where they were and stood there listening. " Oh hey y/n!" Asahi said. Ever since you become close with the team, you and Asahi hit it off like that. You two were like family at this point. " Hey Asahi. Where's Noya-san?" Asahi's smile went from a smile to a thin line. " That's what he was just telling us y/n Noya got suspended for two days, again" Daichi said, looking quoit unsurprised but a little disoriented at the fact that Noya got suspended AGAIN. " What did that moron do this time?" You questioned, irritation in your voice. " Well apparently he slipped and fell after they mopped the floors and broke some plaques of the best setters and aces of the shelves they were on." Sugawara said this looking confused though. ' Noya would never do something like that though...he's careless during volleyball yes but just randomly falling even when they put up a sign that says be careful? Not like Noya at all.' You pondered. You said thanks for the information and ran over to Hinata who was currently yelling at Kageyama for the dumbest reason ever. " I AM NOT A HUMAN TANGERINE YOU HUMAN PLUM!" Hinata yelled. " HOW AM I A HUMAN PLUM?" Tobio looked like he was going to slap Hinata to mars and never come back. Maybe Shouyo would colonize mars, grow tangerines, maybe some potatoes, who knew. " You're a human plum because your hair looks like the color of a PLUM!" " DOES NOT!" " DOES TOO!" "GUYS STOP IT BEFORE I KNOCK YOU OFF YOUR FEET!" You finally yelled. The whole gym looked at you. Let's just say, you weren't one to mess with when it came to something you needed answered, or one to mess with when you're trying to talk to someone. " Shouyou I'm going to Noya-san's house to see if he's alright, I probably won't be able to walk home with you today, I'll be back for dinner though!" You said smiling. Hinata and Tobio blushed and Shouyo said ok. " She's adorable." Hinata told Tobio, you weren't quite out of the gym so you heard this. " Yeah she is, but stop YAPPING AND GET BACK TO PRACTICING OUR QUICK!". ' He yells SO much oh my gosh' you thought smiling. You walked out of the gym and walked down the road to Noya's house. You started to just think and look around at the Cherry blossoms that have yet to bloom. ' when they bloom, they'll be so pretty' you thought. The thing is, you've liked Noya for a few months now. Cliche I know. But his personality and his passion for volleyball just made you like him even more. His laugh is adorable too. As you kept walking you saw the sun begin to fall down. " Ok, just 1 more block and I'll be there, Man I should've bought my bike to school!" You said out loud to no one in particular. " And why's that?" you froze. At first you were scared, then you realized that voice. " Noya-Senpai!" you yelled excitedly. " Y/n-san!" He yelled back. He jogged to catch up with you, then he tried to hug you. * cough cough* tried * cough cough*. You stepped back and put on an annoyed face. " What?" the Libero said looking confused. You started to glare at him," you know exactly why Noya." You said sternly. After you met Noya, thanks to Asahi, you two became great friends. Every friday you would go over to his house and have dinner. Thursday was Shouyo's day. " Ok I got suspended again, yeah I feel bad about breaking the plaques but it was an accident so it's fine!" he said then he smiled. "....." You just stayed quiet. " y/n?" "....you didn't break any plaques did you?" you asked, the thing is, you don't know why he would lie to Asahi of all people, you don't know why he would lie to the team either. The libero stayed quiet for a minute then spoke up," No...I didn't break any plaques." He said calmly, but his eyes looked angry. " Then what happened Noya?" You asked quietly, you didn't want to anger him more, but you wanted to know your friend and crush got suspended. " ...I punched somebody that's all." " you did WHAT?!" You yelled. '' he looked angry and..sad? You calmed down and just looked at him. He was on the brink of tears. You wrapped your arms around him and just hugged him. He didn't hug back until you tried to let go to give him space. He hugged you back and pulled you to him with a thud," Oof" you said jokingly. He simply just gave a small smile. ' that usually makes him laugh' you pondered. " Yuu'' he turned stiff at you calling him ' Yuu'. " Yuu what happened?" you said calmly. You wanted to know why he just randomly punched somebody, even though he's the definition of wild and crazy, he's never been known to be violent. You just wanted to know what was happening in the little world of Yuu.
Nishinoya POV

I punched somebody.....I can't tell them that though! I was going to go crazy thinking about what I would tell Asahi...what I would tell y/n. ' She would hate me forever and then I would never have a chance' I practically whined in my thoughts. I ran my fingers through my hair trying to figure out what to tell them. ' If i say I broke the Setter and Ace plaques, they'll believe me!'. Then that's when I saw HIM. The idiot who I punched, with all good reason, he deserved it.

" Hey Noya! What ever happened with Kiyoko?" Some random 3rd year yelled. " Huh? Nothing." I started blandly. I gave up on Kiyoko after I started falling for y/n. I've ruined my chances a few times after continuously flirting with Kiyoko-san. " Gave up so easily? Not like you at all Noya!" the 3rd year snicked. ' What is he getting at?'. " Oh wait, that's right! you fell for the sweet precious y/n." He started to laugh. " I have not! And why does it matter to you, 3rd year." I spat back, " I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but I suggest you stop." I said sternly. I did actually like y/n but I can't just admit that, that's what he wants. He wants me to admit it. " Ha, I'm not trying to accomplish anything! Just trying to say she would never like someone like you! You're too wild! Too crazy! and you would never have a chance. Hinata has more of a chance than you!" He started to snicker at me, and that's where it all came crashing. " Listen here 3rd year I-" " Call me senpai or upperclassmen, I'm a year above you shortie." ' What is with this kid' I started to get angrier and angrier. " Face it Yuu-" " you can't call me that, only my friends'' I spat back with venom laced into my voice. " Ha, ok fine nOyA( idk how he did it, roll with me im trying lol) but let's just face the facts! She would rather go for anyone else than you, you're just too much to handle, sHoRtIe." That's it. I ran up and threw a left hook and broke his nose( if you get this ur awesome) hje landed on the floor with a thud. I was raging at this point. I tried to calm down by walking away, however the moron told me and got me suspended. I started to think of y/n. But I pushed thoughts of her away. I knew he was right. I am too wild and too much to handle. I only kept walking, hurting, but walking.

" Yuu what happened?" silence. All this has been is silence. You were starting to get impatient and about to ask again until he said," They told me I had too much to handle. I was to wild...I never had a chance with you..." He whispered that last part but yet, you heard it clear as day. You were stunned to say the least. He buried his head deeper into your shoulder and you could feel him shaking. ' was he...crying?' you started to freak out, Noya never cries, he never cares so why is this any different?! Then it hit you 'I never had a chance with you'...." Yuu stop crying. You've always had a chance! I'll admit punching that kid wasn't right, but the things he said are wrong." You pushed him off to look him in the eyes ( LOOK ME IN THE EYES TELL ME WHAT YOU SEEEEE )" You've Always been wild and crazy Noya-san. And that's two of the best things about you. You're you and you won it like it's a medal. Yuu, I like you for you, I wouldn't want you to change for anything you idiot!" You laughed out that last part. Noya started smiling, " Thanks y/n." He kissed your cheek before walking away. You stood there frozen and a blushing mess. "H-HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" You were screaming while running to catch him. He looked back at you and smiled. " You have dinner with Hinata y/n! Just don't forget about your boyfriend while you're with him." he chuckled. ' My what' " What?" you deadpanned. " You beautiful dense moron." He laughed. " We're together now!" " Oh! yeah that makes sense." You were feeling super duper stupid right now. He laughed it off and came and hugged you one more time before he went home. ' Hinata is going to FREAK!' You were practically thinking the same thing over and over again, ' he kissed me' you smiled softly and continued your way to Hinata's house.
