You were currently sitting on the floor of Nekoma's empty hallway as you painted a mural on their wall. The murla was your idea and you presented it to the principle who happened to say yes. The mural was going to be a cat ' breaking' through the wall with the cat black, background red, and the last names of the volleyball players ( I haven't been introduced to all of them yet cause well I'm on episode 25 of the first season but SOON i'll know who the heck yaku and lev is!). you were painting the white walls red with Miss jackson playing by Panic at the Disco( disturbance at the dancing place). You were singing the lyrics and nodding your head to the beat while wearing a white shirt and some shorts, hair was pulled back, and hand was covered with..paint? " how?!" you yelled. You'd think after painting many times in your life since you were little and loved art in general, that you would know not to stick your whole hand in paint. " dangit y/n" you said under your breath. You decided to have fun with it. You started to take your red paint stained hand and place them all over the wall. " Not like it matters anyway, the whole thing's about to be painted" you laughed. Then you had an idea. Instead of just last names, you could get their handprints on the wall and they could write their own names. " that's GENIUS!" you yelled. You got your brush and actually got to work. " MISS JACKSON MISS JACKSON MISS JACKSON ARE YA NASTY ARE YA NASTYYYYY" you were practically yelling the lyrics. no one was in the school anyway so it didn't matter, you were having fun. The song ended and switch to Centuries by Fall out boy ( i'm not an emo i swear, but they got some lit music bro). The song started and you started to sketch out the cat and tears, because the cat was breaking the wall, so you could see where to paint and what it would look like. However, you weren't exactly able to reach the top of the cat's head or the tips of his ears. " aw 69 chicken nuggets where's Bedhead when you need him!" you whined. " I've been summoned." he said and caused you to scream and throw the brush at him. " Kuroo you can't do that!" you yelled. you were one to get scared easily, didn't m,atter what the situation was. He laughed and he picked up the brush and you noticed he had red on his jersey, his white jersey, the white one of all of them. " Kuroo, I got paint on your jersey..." you said quietly. You felt bad, sure it could easily wash out but you didn't know how long until his practice was over, and if it would leave a stain or wouldn't even come off. He looked down and laughed. " It's alright, practice is over anyway so I'll throw it in the wash when I get home." he replied nonchalantly. " Oh good. I was worried haha." you said awkwardly. You jumped when Golden days by disturbance at the dancing place came on and kurro laughed again. " scaredy cat." " that's ironic, cause I'm drawing a cat." you snickered. " Speaking of which, can you put me on your shoulders so i can draw the tips of his ears and his head? I'll go ahead and paint it too so you won't have to lift me up again, you're probab;y tired from practice." you smiled. " Nah it's good, come on i'll help you." he smiled back. for about 20 minutes you were able to draw and paint the top of the cat before Kuroo put you down. you would ask for a brush and some paint, and he'd deliver. once he put you down you stood back and looked at the cat's head and ears. " It's awesome!" You squealed " Thank you Kuroo!" you ran and hugged him. it meant a lot to you. He smiled and blushed slightly but hugged you back nonetheless. " no problem, y/n" he smiled and you smiled back. You checked your phone and saw it was 7:30. " holy bananas in pajamas it's late! I need to cook and I have to finish homework, wait no I did, but I have to cook and shower!" You started freaking out and kuroo grabbed your hand making you blush only a little bit. " y/n, you're fine, you can come over to my place and stay the night." he replied. " Thanks bedhead." you teased and he laughed. You two packed up, and started walking to his house. It was about a 10 minute walk from the school to his house. during those ten minutes you kept feeling something bump your hand. You look down and say Kuroo's next to yours. ' does he want to hold hands or something?' you questioned in your mind. you decided to close the gap and hold his hand. he looked down in shock and looked at you, then turned away making you giggle. " Stupid y/n," he mumbled. " yeah maybe, but it appears to me that you like me." you were teasing of course, but he stopped and pulled you to where he was and he hugged you. " Hell yeah i do." he replied laughing. You blush furiously and laugh along with him. " That's good, cause this would've been awkward. " yeah totally" you two eventually got to his house, ate dinner, and went to sleep cuddling the whole night.
