*Danielle's POV*
I heard voices coming from my family's tomb. I sped over to the tomb and found Elena, Alaric, and Esther standing inside the tomb.
"Drink and let it be done." Esther scolded. As Alaric picked up the bowl Elena yelled,
"No, Ric, please don't." I tried to speed over and knock the bowl out of Alaric's hands but Esther used her magic to get me onto my knees. I grit my teeth.
"Why are you doing this, Esther?" I asked looking up at her while trying to fight her magic.
"You know why, Danielle." She replied, nodding to Alaric. He took that as a sign and drank the liquid immediately.
"No." Elena cried. I watched as he finished the liquid. I was worried what he would be able to do, knowing Esther is this powerful, how powerful could Alaric be, and especially with an alter ego.
"Is it finished?" He questioned looking at Esther.
"Not just yet." She finished and swiftly stabbed Alaric in the stomach. This made Elena yell and cry. I watched all of this unfold in front of my very eyes, I had grown to like Alaric, he seemed nice and was very understanding with all the supernatural stuff. Alaric was dead, Elena was crying, and I couldn't do anything. I am so helpless.
"You said you wanted to undo the evil that you created, but this-this is just as evil." I yelled still on my knees.
"Alaric will never be what my children became. I have granted him enough power to complete his task. Then when the time is right, he will die." She replied back.
"How, if he's immortal?" Elena pitched in.
"All you need to know is that when this is over, we will have rid the Earth of vampires once and all." Esther finished.
"Yeah, but you'll be killing the good along with the bad. You're not better than Klaus." Elena explained.
"Am I not?" Esther asked tilting her head. "I desire a world where you and your loved ones will not suffer at the hands of vampires, like your Aunt Jenna did." We all heard a twig snap. I sighed. 'Seriously, they come to help yet can't keep quiet.' Esther let go of the spell and walked outside with Elena on her trail. I was catching my breath when I heard a gun cock.
"Don't move." A voice demanded.
"Where's Elena?" Another peeped in.
"Jeremy?" Elena questioned running out to them.
"Let her go." Jeremy demanded stepping closer to Esther.
"How foolish of you to risk your lives in defense of those who will kill you. But if that is your choice.." She stated lifting up her hands. The guns started to shake, Matt's gun pointed at Jeremy, while Jeremy's crossbow pointed at Matt.
"Matt. Matt, drop your gun." Jeremy yelled.
"I can't. I'm not controlling it." Matt replied.
"Esther, stop it." Elena screamed. The guns started to shake rapidly but before one of them took a shot, I stabbed Esther in the back with the stake I had found next to Alaric. Esther fell in front of me and the boys put there guns down startled. Alaric came rushing out and picked up Elena's hand, it was wrapped so that she would stop bleeding.
"Oh, god." He panted. "Wh-where's my ring?" He asked looking at Jeremy but then back at Elena and I. I didn't respond and instead just looked down. "Tell me what happened."

Elena had finished explaining everything that had happened and told him he needed to drip human blood to finish his transition to a vampire. I looked down at my clothes, I was bloody, but it was hard to see since I was wearing black.
"Damon's here, and Klaus took Esther's body." Jeremy announced walking over to us.
"Does he know about the stake?" Alaric asked leaning against the doors to the tomb.
"No, only that she tried to turn you into a weapon and failed." Jeremy responded.
"Well, looks like you are going to want this then." I added, holding up the stake towards Alaric. He took it and then turned towards Elena.
"What's going on?" Jeremy asked suspiciously.
"I'll leave you guys to talk." I stated walking away the tomb towards my brothers. I spotted Kol out of the corner of my eye. I turned towards him, then back at my brothers and nodded at them. I walked over to Kol, before I could apologize to him about running off to 'save' the day, he hugged me.

He let go of me and looked at my dress worriedly.
"I'm fine, Kol, chill." I stated looking at him.
"Don't do that darling, you worried me." He stated looking down at me.
"Kol, I'm fine, I can take care of myself, thank you very much." I replied with a little sas at the end. I didn't really want to be there for Alaric's death, I wasn't really part of the Mystic Falls Gang, so I decided to head home. I invited Kol to join me, he declined and instead invited me to the Mikaelson Mansion. I happily obliged. I walked up to the front door but stopped and looked up at the sky. I stepped down from the front steps and walked over to the grass near the front. I sat and just admired the stars for a bit, until Kol joined me.
"Danielle?" He started. I broke my gaze and looked at him.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Would you like to g-" He was cut off by a blinding car light. We both shielded our eyes with our hands, the lights soon went off. I looked up to see Klaus, he smiled looking down at us. I smiled back as he held his hand out for me. I took his hand and stood up.
"I was wondering where you were, did you get Esther's body?" I asked dusting off some dirt on my pants.
"Yes I did, love, she is currently in her coffin, I was driving around looking for you guys." He responded.
"Good, she can't do any harm there. Anyway, I should probably head home, before Damon and Stefan start looking for me." I added looking between them.
"Goodnight Klaus." I stated hugging him, I turned towards Kol and kissed him on the cheek.
"Goodnight Kol." I mumbled before speeding away.
