*Danielle's POV*

"Ugh. I'm gonna kill him." I mumbled. I rubbed my neck and groaned. I look up and see a person face down with a broken bat pointing out of his back. 'Ooh, that's gotta hurt.' I knew exactly who it was. I pushed him over and pulled the bat right out of his chest. I looked around, the cages were abandoned. I sighed, 'Damon left me. I'm gonna kill him too.' I sat next to Kol for a few more minutes until I heard a groan. "Good, you're up. That took you forever." I stated looking at him. He looked up at me and smiled a little.

"You waited with me darling?" He asked with a smirk.

"Don't flatter yourself, especially after killing me." I remarked looking away from him. I motioned my hands toward the batting cages, gesturing we were all alone. "Plus you are my only ride, because my idiot of a brother left me here."

"Are you sure that is the only reason you stayed?" He asked winking at me. I rolled my eyes and got up.

"Hurry up, I am bored. I don't know what we are going to do next, but hurry up so we can go home."

"Alright, alright." He replied standing up. We walked out the batting cages and hopped into his car.

"We're here darling." Kol said shaking my shoulders. I must've fell asleep for most of the car ride. It was a pretty boring ride, Kol and I didn't talk to each other, it was awkward. I yawned and got out of the car, we were at someone's house. It was very dark, we were also in the middle of no where. We walked in, I couldn't see anything, but soon my eyes readjusted. Something dropped in a room and I walked over to the room cautiously. Kol had walked off to another room. I entered the room, looking around carefully. Something sped in front of me and grabbed my throat. They had slammed me against a wall. I used my right hand and grabbed the hand that was holding onto my neck, I twisted it and pulled it behind the person's back making them yelp. I tried to snap their neck but they had squirmed free of my grasp and pushed me onto another wall. I winced, there was a piece of wood sticking out of my stomach.

"Ow." I stated trying to pull the piece of wood out. Instead, the mystery person just grabbed the wood and twisted it. I yelled gritted my teeth. 'I could really use your help right now Kol.' Right on cue, Kol came in. He looked at us and pushed the mystery person away from me. He pulled the stake out and turned to face them. I sighed in relief, I could finally breathe again.

"Stay away from her." Kol spat. Holding the stake in his hand tightly. I looked down at my stomach to make sure it was healing, sure enough, it had already healed. I heard a laugh and looked up right away confused. They turned the lights on, to reveal this not very attractive looking women. 'Mary. Ugh, could this day get any worse?'

"Lovely, you." I stated glaring at her.

"Wow, Kol, you really downgraded." She stated fake pouting. I rolled my eyes and she just laughed.

"You went out with her?" I asked, looking at Kol. I scoffed before stating. "No wonder you and Damon are so messed up."

"Well this has been a lovely get together, but I think it's time we get down to business, don't you think?" Kol added, completely ignoring my question, even though I knew the answer. "Simple question Mary, who turned you?"

"Aww, is that all you came here to say?" She asked batting her eyelashes. I swear, I could have ripped her eyeballs our of her head right there and then.

"Who turned you?" Kol asked again but more sternly this time.

"You know, I may need something to jog my memory." Mary stated and winked, which made me roll my eyes.

"Oh really?" Kol questioned raising his eyebrows. She nodded eagerly as Kol started to walk towards her. I scoffed. 'Was he really about to do this right now?' Before I could stop them, Kol swiftly stabbed her in the heart with the piece of wood. She was dangling from a wall with black veins traveling up to her neck.

"Not what I was expecting, but that's fine." I added staring at her desiccating body.

"I was going to do it at one point." He stated turning towards me. "You okay?" I nodded my head, he walked over to me but before he could say something we were interrupted by a car engine turning off. Damon. I quickly turned off the lights, and Kol realized who it was and grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me behind the door of the room we were standing in.

"I said scary, not ugly." I rolled my eyes, Damon, of course he would say that. 'You are wrong Damon, she is hideous.' I smirked at that thought, when my thoughts were cut off with two figures walking past Kol and I. I tried to stay as quiet as I could.

"Mary." Damon whispered looking up at her body.

"Quite the contrary." Kol added holding a wooden bat.

"Wow, looks like you two stuck together, yet I was left all alone." I commented.

"You had me, darling." Kol replied not taking his eyes off of Damon. "Shame about Mary. I don't quite know what happened. I fear all the time she spent with my family might have ruined her. She was a bit of an Original groupie."

"And were you her favorite?" Elena asked.

"You mean did I turn her? I think I did, but, no, wait maybe it was Rebekah. But there was also a Klaus period. And let's not forget the Elijah affair. I spoke to my brother. I know who you're trying to find out who you descended from. Now you never will. So where did we leave off?" Kol kicked the bat with his foot and slammed the bat a split second right into Damon which made him fall to the ground.

"Elena, get out of here." Damon groaned. I looked between them and grabbed Elena's hand, I don't know what made me do this, but if Elena was killed by anyone, and Stefan and Damon knew I could do something, I would be dead either way. I tried to get her out of the house at least while Kol does whatever he does, I can try and stop Kol, but Damon deserved it.

"According to my brother you're off limits. Just don't test me." He explained taking my hand so that I wasn't holding Elena's hand anymore. He shoved her into a wall which made her slam her head. I rushed to her and helped her stand up.

"Don't touch her." Damon yelled gripping Kol's neck. 'Rookie Mistake Damon.' Kol headbutted Damon which caused him to fly back, slamming his back into a wall. I winced and before I knew it, I was standing between them with my hand towards Kol's chest.

"Kol, stop. You have beaten him enough." I said standing my ground.

"Relax, darling." Kol responded. "He snapped my neck, killed my brother, humiliated me, and couldn't save you from Mother Dearest. How could you defend him?"

"He's my brother, Kol!" I yelled. "Let them go."

"Fine, but only for you darling." He said slowly putting the bat down. I motioned for them to leave, as Damon passed Kol, all I saw were death glares. "Happy?"

"Not quite yet." I added putting my hand around his neck and snapped it. He fell in front of me and I smiled. "Now I am." I rushed outside to make sure my brother hadn't left me again. I sighed in relief and rushed into the car. "Thanks for not leaving me." I replied as Damon zoomed away.
