After waiting for what seemed like forever, Five finally woke up. Ashlinn stood up and she stood beside the bed with her arms crossed. Five slowly sat up and looked around the room and his eyes landed on Ashlinn.
"Ashlinn? What are you..." Five took a moment to try and remember what had happened. He looked to Luther who was sitting beside Ashlinn.
"Luther, could you leave us alone for a moment?" Ashlinn looks at the aforementioned who gives her a weird look. Luther wanted to dive straight into asking questions and he thought that Ashlinn would want the same.
"Uh, sure. I'll be outside. Come get me when you're done." Luther walks out, leaving Ashlinn and Five alone. Ashlinn looks at Five again who had an apologetic look.
"Before you say anything, I'm sorry." Five says and Ashlinn furrows her eyebrows as she sits down.
"What do you mean?" She asks and Five scratches the back of his neck.
"Well, as you could tell, this body doesn't take to alcohol all that well but I do remember bits." Five had a guilty but smug look on his face.
"Oh, so you remember what you did in the library?" Ashlinn crosses her arms and Five shrugs.
"Maybe. But I'd like to say that I'm not a demon." Five states and Ashlinn laughs.
"You had me fooled."
"Mhm. Why did you kick Luther out?" Five asks and Ashlinn becomes more serious.
"I want answers."
"I'm sure Luther does too. So, why did you kick Luther out?" Five asks and Ashlinn scowls.
"I...I just wanted to ask if you're okay?" Ashlinn hesitantly asks and Five hides his smile with a smug look.
"Are you worried about me? I'm flattered." Five says with a sarcastic tone and Ashlinn rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, okay. Whatever." Ashlinn stands up to get Luther but Five stops her.
"Wait. Ashlinn, I'm fine." Five says and Ashlinn scoffs.
"Bullshit." She says and Five was slightly taken aback. Did she actually care?
"What do you mean? Are you inside my mind?"
"I don't need to be." Ashlinn sits again. "Five, I found you in a library, absolutely hammered. I feel as if you're not 'fine'. But that's only my observation."
"Hammered? What?" Five was confused. He didn't know a lot about Irish slang.
"Drunk. Whatever." Ashlinn takes a deep breath. "If you don't want to tell me, okay. Just don't lie to me."
"Are you mad at me for getting drunk?" Five asks and Ashlinn sighs loudly.
"No...maybe. I don't know. Maybe I am worried. I don't know. I'm getting Luther." She goes to walk over to the door but Five grabs her hand to stop her again.
"What?" She asks, her voice coming out softer than she had intended. He stays silent for a moment.
"Never mind." He lets her go.
Ashlinn frowns as she walks over to the door and opens it.
"Luther?" She peeks her head out to see Luther leaning against the wall.
"You ready?" He asks and Ashlinn nods. They walk back into the room to see Five sitting at the edge of the bed. As the two walk in Five hides his frown.
"Alright, I know you two have a lot of questions. Hit me."
Five spent the next thirty minutes answering their questions to the best of his abilities. Everything about the apocalypse. From what happened to his experience. He couldn't give them all the answers, unfortunately, but whatever he could tell them, he told them. That was until Diego burst through the door, anger emanating from him.
