This chapter kind of fails, but bear with me, okay? It gets better I swear. I really rushed everything, and I'm sorry for that. The charecters personality will become more apparent in the next chapter.

(Yuki’s POV)Yuki Sayaka walked down the hallway of his father’s castle, ignoring the greetings from the servants who bowed.
He walked into the throne room and stopped. My father was sitting in the wooden throne. The dukes had offered to give a golden throne to him as a gift, but the king refused. He preferred the wooden throne, which was elaborately made with oak, ash, cedar, willow, mahogany, and apple.
Yuki’s older brother’s, Shuri and Ral, were on either side of him
Shuri, who was the oldest, and next in line for the throne, had the same silvery hair that both Yuki and the kin g had, and dark blue eyes, while Ral, who was a year younger than Shuri, had his mother’s black hair and violet eyes.
Yuki concerned himself with the other man in the room. He was tall, and had black hair that was slicked back behind his ears, and similar onyx black eyes. General Ai, of the royal army.
Yuki had never trusted the man. He was always unnecessarily cruel to servants and prisoners.
“Your report?” the king asked, “Shuri already told me how the trip to Serefi went,”
“On our way back, however, we caught a rat sneaking around camp one night,” Ai said. He snapped his fingers and two of his men entered with a boy.
His arms were being held behind his back.
“Let me go you fucking bastards!” he snapped, struggling.
Ai slapped him across the face, “How dare you use such language in the king’s throne room!”
The boy spit at Ai, who jumped back and growled. He turned back to the king and pointed to the boy, “My guards discovered him lurking near your oldest son’s tent, knife in hand!”
The boys eyes widened in confusion, “That’s a bloody lie!”
One of the guards hit him sharply on his head and he cringed.
“I have a feeling he’s an assassin who had been sent to kill the would-be king,” Ai said, nodding.
“I didn’t have a knife and I wasn’t near his tent! I was even near your bloody camp!”
“Silence!” Ai screamed, ramming his fist to the side of the boys head.
He turned back to the king, “You understand why I’m concerned? Your son could have been killed without anyone knowing until morning, and his killer would have gotten away,”
The king nodded, “I understand,”
“You can’t seriously believe this guy!” The boy asked, “I was hunting in the forest! I saw light, but I didn’t go anywhere near it! Let me go!”
Ai turned again, unsheathing his sword, and hit the boy on the head with the flat side. The two guards tossed him to the ground, and he coughed, blood spreading on the ground.
Ai turned to the king, “Permission to take him to the dungeon while he awaits judgment, sir?”
The king nodded, “Granted,”
Just then, Yuki’s eyes locked with the boys, and he froze. The boy had red, wine-red eyes, like blood, only with more velvet texture. They stared at Yuki, a hint of familiarity burning in them, along with pain. His hair was the same color red as his eyes, if not a shade darker. Blood dripped down the side of his mouth a collected in a puddle on the floor.
