Chapter 1 - Noble Roses

On a calm Monday afternoon, a 18 year old boy lies on his bed scrolling through his phone. When suddenly, someone sent him a text message his phone, with the caller ID: Yukina Minato

Texting on the phone

Y/N: Hello Yukina hows it going?

Yukina: I'm fine thank you, are you by chance busy tomorrow?

Y/N: No why?

Yukina: How about meeting Roselia in person Lisa will be there.

Y/N: Sure why not

Yukina: Alright then lets meet at Hazawa Coffee tomorrow at 12:00.

Y/N: sounds good see you then

As he puts down his phone Y/N remembers that he just moved here three weeks ago, so much has happened since. Met Marina and got a job at Circle and reunited with one of his childhood friend in this part town. Yukina was always a different girl, she was always had a cold, commanding attitude, and serious drive in her endeavors. Her father was a musician, however she told me that he stop playing, but never told me why, all I know that her having a band like Roselia he'll gain back is passion, that I so for sure. Yeah she's sometimes a scary person but she's was the best person he knew.

THE NEXT DAY

The cool breeze of early spring trough the city as I made my way to the downtown area. It was 10:00am so I had time to kill, I stumbled across Live-House Circle. He noticed the owner of the place struggling to move some boxes from a decoration supplier truck into the building. he decided to lend a hand, it only seemed right to offer a helping hand, maybe she can pay him for his initiative.

Y/N called out to Marina, "hey Marina do you need help with those boxes?" He asked, Marina seemed to have a sigh of relief when I offered to help. "Oh thank goodness you arrived just in time, you can help by moving some of these boxes to the lobby inside". After the boxes were placed inside, Marina thanked me for the help, and promised to put in some extra pay on the side, "My prediction was correct", I thought to myself.

The Live-House was getting new equipment and seasonal decorations, to make Circle more appealing during Live Shows or new bands. There are actually other Live-Houses in this part of the city: Galaxy and, Angel to name a few. Marina asked if I can work more often seeing as more bands are coming to make Circle their main rehearsal house. I agreed stating I can come straight after school. I could use the extra money,
anyway jobs aren't done on empty stomachs. she smiled, and said that I can start my new schedule next week. Before I left Marina gave me a list of 7 Bands that will be at Circle, Two I recognize on the list.

As Y/N left Circle he realized it was 11:50am, and he needed to be at Hazawa Coffee in ten minutes, as he arrived he smelled the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, "smells good". He went inside a saw Yukina and Lisa sitting with three other girls. Lisa ran up to him and envelop him into a tight hug "Y/N is so good to see you again, did you move back?", "Yeah I'm back, it's good to be home". "Imai-san, Minato-san who is this boy" the teal haired girl asked, "he's our friend that we met years ago, he's a very trustworthy person" Yukina said proudly, the purple haired girl stepped up to introduce herself.

"The dark necromancy princess Ako Udagawa" she must have too wild of an imagination.

"Sayo Hikawa" she said plainly, Looks like smiling isn't in her vocabulary.

"H-hello my n-name is R-Rinko Shirokane it's good to m-meet you" she said struggling to maintain eye contact. Hmm she's a shy one, need to extra gentle talking with her

After the three girls introduced themselves it was my turn to introduce myself.

"My name is Y/N L/N it's very nice to meet all of you" I said humbly. After ordering some cakes and coffee, we enjoyed the desserts and I caught up with Lisa and Yukina about my time abroad.

FLASHBACK TEN YEARS

I originally born in Tokyo but my parents decided to moved to Canada when I was 10 years old, so I sorta speak with a English accent because I was taught English first, so I kinda have a bad Japanese accent. 7 years later My dad was called back to Tokyo and placed in Shibuya, for a company that distributes electronic devices to all of South East Asia, so he isn't normally home often, and my Mom recently went to stay with my grandma in Sendai because she became very ill, Before I moved, I had a few friends around the neighborhood,

I knew the two girls Lisa Imai, and Yukina Minato. We often play music and mostly went with Lisa to shop together, my mother was good friends with the Mitake family as she went to their Flower Arrangement School. There was this one girl I lived beside. Her name was Chisato Shirasagi, she was a child actress we only interacted a few times while she lived beside me, but I doubt she remembers me though.

"What are you interests Y/N-san?" Ako asked,
"Well like music, cooking, traveling, and playing video games".

"Do you play NFO?" Ako asked immediately, "Uh yeah been paying for a while", "w-what level are y-you?", Rinko asked shyly "uhhh level 110" I said embarrassedly, "maybe I play to much" With Lisa and Yukina nodding their heads in agreement.

As the time goes by I got to learn about how Roselia had it's ups and downs. We talked a little getting to know the band until I checked my watch at it read 6:40pm, we exited Hazawa Coffee and began to go out separate ways, I've decided to walk Yukina, and Lisa home.

Y/N POV

When we arrived at Lisa house first, and said our goodbyes but not before She gave me a kiss on my cheek with her blushing and saying "I'm happy that your back home" as she went into her house, leaving me stunned, I then glanced over to Yukina, with giving a jealous look at me, "Sorry you how she can be" I said trying to explain myself, she smiled and gave a tight hug and said our goodbyes, "have a goodnight Y/N, I'm happy your back", with her going insider her house.

Yukina's POV

Y/N is actually back into my life, he didn't change much besides being a little taller than me, but he is still the same boy who I've cared about ever since were young, maybe I can convey these feelings for him, I can't lose to Lisa, he'll be with me in end, maybe I should invite him to Roselia. I said looking at a photo of me, and Y/N when we were 7.
