Chapter 14 - Starfall

Sayo POV

I need to get better "If I can't be as good as her what good am I?" Sayo said to herself while practicing with her guitar for 5 hours.

While midway through my 6th attempt I heard a knock coming from the front door and behind the door revealed to be Y/N.

"Sayo may I come in?" Y/N asked in a concerned voice.

"Of course" I said leading Y/N to the living room.

"Let me guess Hina told you that I yelled at her didn't she?" I asked Y/N surprising him.

"Well let's get the point-why do you have a complicated relationship with Hina, I guessing it comes from a inferiority complex or something along those lines" Y/N said in a straightforward tone.

"I-it's just that Hina will always be better than me at anything I pick up. I started playing guitar since she hasn't done it yet, after she saw me doing it she followed and immediately became good at it." I said tearing up.

"But she doesn't realize that it makes me angry that I had to put in hard work and devotion while it takes her seconds to perfect anything" I said tightly  clenching my fist.

"There's your problem you let your petty mindset control your feelings" Y/N said in a stern voice.

"All you do is get angry at Hina, I don't think you even once considered how she felt every time you've say no. Your a real excellent example of the idle older sister" Y/N said raising his voice.

"Excuse me?! Who are you to tell me how to treat my sister!" I said yelling back at Y/N.

"Yeah that's it Sayo, get all pissed off and aggressive! You think always saying no and needlessly getting angry is anyway to treat your sister.....after all I've said you still don't get it do you?"

"I watch Onee-Chan and Y/N's argument from my room. Two people I really care about coming to blows with each other really breaks my heart" Hina thought to herself peeking through her door.

"Well enlightened me then Y/N what don't I realize that you know will solve all of my problems!" I said while on the verge of kicking out Y/N.

"Listen to me and listen well. You may hate Hina being a prodigy and always being overshadowed by her, but you need to let go of all of that bitterness, the only thing Hina wants from you it's to be a Older sister she can laugh and cry with. She loves you a lot that's why she's copying you So just try to understand her for now everything else will build up slowly" Y/N said lowering his voice.

"And maybe put that stubbornness to help Roselia get even better then it was at the Future World Fes, I'm sure with you girls winning that a few months back would have helped eased your attitude" Y/N said jokingly.

After understanding his words, I realize that maybe I took my relationship with Hina for granted, he's right I should try to learn more about my sister I thought to myself as I smile at Y/N.

"Thank you Y/N, you've helped me open my eyes to something I've never would have done on myown, your words really moved me....you really care about all of us don't you?" I said giving Y/N an awkward hug.

"Hey I wouldn't be here yelling at you if I didn't care" Y/N said while patting my back.

"My work here done, don't forget what I said alright trust me everything will be lighten up" Y/N leaving my house.

"I can see why Imai-san and Minato-san trusts him a lot, he went out of his way to help me even through he didn't have to, maybe if I can act a little nicer he would probably noticed my feelings I now have for him.

Y/N POV

After the drama at the Hikawa household I got ready to attend the Stat Festival. Unfortunately Mom and Yomi had to go to back to Sendai to attend a important meeting which left me to ask someone to go with me, I scrolled through my contacts to see who might want to join me. I gave Lisa a call to which she quickly accepted my invitation and agreed to meet by Yamabuki Bakery.

After waiting for about 5 minutes Lisa arrived and quickly grabbed my arm and we proceed to enjoy the various stands throughout the Downtown Area. Many of the stands were selling street food such as: Yakisoba, Takoyaki, and Kushi Katsu, While some stands offer games like: A Shooting Gallery, Goldfish Catching, or Dye Cutting. The streets looked very lively as Lisa and I were deciding on what to eat.

"Hmmm what's good here, all of it smells soooo good!" Lisa said excitingly.

"How about we get something that won't get you fat, oh wait........most of the stuff here is deep fried" I said joking a bit.

"Excuse mister! I would have you know that today just happens to be my cheat day and course the gentleman would pay for my expenses" Lisa pouted while also pinching my side.

"Alright ma'am how about some Yakitori skewers, Takoyaki and a bottle of Ramune" I suggest to Lisa.

"Well let's go then Y/N your the one paying after all" Lisa said winking at me.

After eating some very delicious food and enjoying some game Lisa suggested we should put up their Tanzaku wishes on the bamboo branch before we go home.

After some thinking I decided on the wish I wanted fo make: I want to have a great year with the bands at Circle.

After putting my tanzaku on the bamboo branch I went to see if Lisa was done writing her wish. When I went up to her she was already putting up her wish, I asked what here wish was to which she responded "sorry but I'm not telling".

A few minutes later the fireworks started so Lisa and I went to the top of a hill at the park to get a better view. While watching the vibrant colours bursting through the sky Lisa held me hand and asked me to look at her. As I look into Lisa's brown eyes I came closer to her as she did the same and soon I felt a soft sensation on my lips, As we held for a few seconds until we both needed air Lisa broke the silence by saying her her true feelings.

"I love you Y/N, ever since you came back into my life I want to spend the rest of my life with you" Lisa said hugging me while burying her face into my chest.

"Lisa I-I" I was cut off by a large bang by the last firework of the night.

After looking at the last display I walked Lisa home but kept thinking that I didn't have a opportunity to respond to her feelings. Upon reaching her house Lisa looked back at me and gave one kiss on my nose saying she had a lot fun before entering her house.

While walking home I couldn't stop think about what Lisa said, she poured her heart out and I couldn't give her answer her, maybe I should stress about it now but looking back I would say the same to her and we'd be together, however during the festival I was felt I was being stared at I hope it's not Yandere girl.

Yukina POV

How dare you Lisa, you making the first move he was my friend first. I should have not introduced you to him he's suppose be with me!
