"hyung, are you okay?"

mark removed his gaze from the ring when he heard jeno's voice. and to answer the younger male's question, he nodded before shooting the ball from the free throw lane, but unfortunately, it didn't get in.

"liar, you're clearly not okay." mark looked at the browned hair male that just passed him another ball.

"i am not lying." mark retorted before shooting the ball once again and looks like lady luck isn't by mark's side as the ball didn't got in. "i knew it." he heard chenle said.

"want to talk about it hyung?" yangyang asked as he hesitantly handed mark a ball. mark looked at the ball and just dropped down on the floor, not accepting it, "yeah, i need to vent this out or i'd really lose my mind."

"okay hyung, we're all ears." jeno said as he also sat down next to mark, the other two, yangyang and chenle, following after.

"i— the coach recently warned me." mark looked at them to see their expressions, whether should he continue or if they're interested. it seemed like it anyways. "he told me he'd kick me out of the team if i fail atleast one subject."

"what!?"

mark sighed and went to ruffle his hair, "that's exactly my reaction."

"b-but hyung! that's not fair!" jeno butted as he raised his hand as if he was participating in class.

"jeno, i called it absurd but he still go on with it." mark went to gaze at the ring as he continued telling what happened when he met with their coach.

"hyung, you're a really good player. you're a captain for a reason. i'm pretty sure they'll not go hard on you." yangyang tried to ease up the atmosphere as he also raised his hand just like jeno, and lowered it after finishing his sentence.

"i'm sure they mean it. hyung don't worry, we could help you.. or not me since i'm a year younger.. jeno hyung and yangyang ge could help you with studying." chenle added and just like what the two older males did, chenle also did it.
