donghyuck held onto the door knob as he hesitated to twist it open.

"come on hyuck. if you don't want it's really okay." doctor byun reminded him with a smile.

should i not go? donghyuck's grip on the door knob slowly loosened but then he held onto it once again, if it was really mark.. i should go and also help him right? i mean... he's a f-friend.. yeah friend, i should help a friend. plus is this what really happened that's why he missed school?

donghyuck took a deep breath before twisting the knob and entering the room. he was then greeted by someone sleeping on the bed, a pair of clutches on the side and the doctor who seemed to be checking up on that someone.

i-is that really mark lying in the bed?

"oh are you donghyuck?" donghyuck snapped out of his thoughts as he faced the doctor and bowed. donghyuck then signed but the doctor seemed confused, "i'm sorry, i am not that knowledgeable about sign languages."

"doctor kim, hyuckie here said it's nice to meet you." luckily, doctor byun is there to translate it.

"oh haha, yeah it's also nice to meet you donghyuck. so, i'm assuming you're mark's hopefully future friend?"

donghyuck looked at the doctor before gazing at mark. he then walked much more nearer to finally recognize the guy in the bed and damn, he was really mark lee... oh god.

and as for his answer, he signed.

"hyuckie said he knows mark— wait you know mark?"

donghyuck remove his gaze at the sleeping male before facing the doctors again. he then nodded and signed, ' we're classmates on some subjects.'

"oh what a small world, then this would turn out great, i hope?" doctor kim, mark's doctor remarked as he clapped his hands after hearing doctor byun's translation.

small world? really?

"hyuck don't worry, for this week, it'll just be for an hour and a half so you two could adjust then after this week, we can settle it some time and tell me how long you want. okay?"

donghyuck just nodded once again as his answer.

"i'm sorry but i have to leave, i still have to finish mark's report for today. also, mark was sleeping from noon so i bet he'll be awake around this hour... so i hope you don't mind." mark's doctor excused himself after getting a heads up from doctor byun. "me too hyuck, i'll leave too but if you want me to stay to accompany you til mark wakes up then i'll stay."

"it's okay..." donghyuck managed to whisper and when doctor byun heard it, he nodded and also excused himself.

and when he's finally alone, donghyuck heaved out a sigh as he walked towards the bed where mark was. "mark... oh god what happened..."

donghyuck frowned, feeling bad for mark. it must've been really bad... his dream is to play and suddenly getting this is not really what he'll like.... hope you'd get well soon.
