Two students chatted happily in the halls. These two students were Aphrodite and Arius. Aphrodite was talking out loud while attempting to sign while Arius used sign language or just nodded and shook his head. Aphrodite giggled at the joke Arius made which had the boy smile pridefully that he could make the girl laugh.
"Hey Aphrodite. Where the hell is my homework? You better be gone." A sadly familiar voice could be heard. Douglas James Brown walked up to the two in a bad mood. "Douglas, How many times must I repeat this? I'm not doing your homework." Aphrodite spoke firmly.
"Then what the fuck did you do with it when I gave the damn thing to you last night! It's fucking due today!" He growled as Arius stayed close to Aphrodite.
"I burned it, I burned it with him," Aphrodite spoke pointing to Arius.
"YOU WHAT?!" Douglas almost screamed.
"Alittle hard for hearing there?" Aphrodite tilting her head as she looked upon the enraged boy. 'I think he is' Arius signed to Aphrodite with a snicker.
"What the fuck? Are you fucking deaf? Douglas asked as his eyes turned to look at the much shorter boy. "First, No he isn't, He just has troubles speaking. Second, How dumb do you have to be to ask someone you think is deaf, if their deaf or not with vocal language?" Aphrodite was starting to get annoyed.
Douglas stayed silent for a moment. Wrath was boiling up inside him.
"I thought you where a Pretty girl and smart girl. BUT YOU JUST MADE A BIG FUCKING MISTAKE!" Douglas barked as he took a step closer to Aphrodite and Arius.
"I honestly don't think I have," Aphrodite sweetly smiled in response as she stood still, not showing any fear. Arius grabbed Aphrodite's arm and held it tightly, he didn't like yelling.
"You fucking begging for a fight, aren't you?" He snarled as softly punch his one hand into the palm of the other getting even closer.
"I don't feel right participating in things that I know I'm going to win for a fact," She grinned happily.
"You. Me. Outside no-"
Douglas was quickly cut off by the loud bell of the university ringing.
"Aw looks like you where saved by the Bell! Now please excuse us, but me and Arius must be heading to Home Economics Class. Wish you a good rest of your day!" Aphrodite started to quickly walk away. She wouldn't mind fighting the boy but she wanted to get away for Arius who got scared due to the basically screaming.
"It's okay Ari," Aphrodite kindly beamed to the Arius. He looked up to her and softly smiled back. "I think I have a Rubik's Cube, wait one sec," She started to rummage through her bag. In a few moments she pulled out a very old Rubik's cube and handed it to Arius, who instantly went straight to playing it. "You can play with it for a bit, but I need it back because it's a gift from my dad," Aphrodite stated as Arius replied with a nod.
