-White Eyes-

Azazel chuckled as he sat at the small round table. You could also hear a small snicker from Azz. "Like? What am I gonna do with a cross necklace?" The demon chuckled once more as he looked at the gift Castiel had given him not too long ago. "It's the thought that counts," The woman replied with a slight giggle still in her voice.

"True," Azazel softly smiled at it, she was right, it was the the thought that counts. The two where in a small room, just chatting. Azazel had a cup of alcohol, that had been already drank out of  a few times, on the table next to him.

Azaliah's eyes where still on Azazel when she saw him flinch and turn to holding the cross with a tight grip. He looked down at his hands and looked back up to see his surroundings, still haven't looked in Azz's direction. "Zel, you okay?" The girl asked alittle worried.

Azazel wiped his head to Azz. It seemed to take a moment for him to process that it was her. He quickly got out of the chair he was sitting in and stood up in front of Azz. She looked up to the taller man with a worried expression.

His eyes.

His eyes where different.

Instead of being the ruby red like they always where,

They where a soft yellow with white irises.

"Y-" Azz went to speak but stopped when she felt Azazel firmly grab her shoulder with a very tight grip. It quickly loosened but she still was scared alittle.

"Azaliah.".

"Um... Yes?".

"The gir- Persephone. Please... just make sure to keep an eye on her,".

"Zel, Is something wro-".

"Nothing's wrong.".

"Just.. Keep her safe. Make sure she stays in line. Be aware who she hangs out around,".

She looked down as the hand her had placed on her shoulder, it seemed to shake violently. Azaliah lightly grabbed Azazel's wrist, "Azazel your shaking..,". He darted his eyes down to his own shaking body, "My Apologies," He said seeming to force himself to be as still as stone yet he still shook, just not as much.

The Assistant went to speak again stopped when Azazel let go of her shoulder and turned around.

"Forgive me but I must be heading." Without another word, he went to the door and fumbled to open it. He dashed out, slamming the door behind him.

Azazel continued to shake as he walked. Without looking, he placed the cross necklace around his neck and quickly made his way out of the red base.

She started to go after him, she did see the demon as a freind, but the sound of shattering glass stopped her in her tracks. She looked around to see that the cup of alcohol somehow fallen off the table. 'Strange...' The mother thought to herself as she went to clean the now broken cup.
