Arius rubbed his eyes. Where was he? His eyes scanned his surroundings. He looked to be in a desert. Nothing out of the sorts. He would often visit Tuefort which was big desert. He was laying in the dusty sand. He pulled himself up and coughed due to all the dust flying around. He desperately tried to clean the sand off himself. His pupils continued dart around.
The hybrid noticed train tracks and a old train station that seemed to be falling apart in the distance. His head tilted in curiosity, the heart near his eye turning a soft yellow. He started to make his way closer to the aged building. His eyes squinting as he tried to see the building clearly. His short legs where barely taking him anywhere. As he got closer, he saw his father, Castiel.
He happily waved to his father as he started to pick up pace. It was still a somewhat blurry sight but his father waved back. Arius happily smiled as he started to skip some. Then something caught his eye, a train. A train was quickly moving it's way on the tracks. His eyes went back to his father, who was one the tracks, seeming clueless.
Arius started to run, waving his hands in the air. He tried to scream but only made little soft noises. Tears where starting to fall down from his blue eyes. He ran as fast he could but it wasn't fast enough. Castiel didn't notice.
Arius watches in horror as the train got closer and closer and closer to his father.
It was just an inch away now.
Then Arius woke up.
It was all a nightmare.
Still, it hurted.
Tears were already running down Arius's face as he crawled out of his bed. He went out of his bedroom and closed the door behind him. He timidly walked up to his parent's room and opened the door. He crawled onto the bed. This woke up Castiel who was currently cuddling with Noomy. The man softly yawned and turned to his son. "Hey buddy," Castiel sleepily and softly said rubbing his eyes.
Castiel instantly started to panic when he saw his son sobbing. "Ari what's wrong?" He waited for Arius to sign him an answer like he would normally but the 7 year old didn't. Arius just curled up in the middle of Noomy and Castiel. Castiel sighed softly. "Okay, you can talk about it with me and your Makua in the morning when you feel better," Castiel whispered as he hugged his son, who hugged back.
