True Love Is Real

Katherine's Pov

Adrian kept true to his promise. He did make my birthday the best. He took me to a theme park, the park, and we ended the night looking at the stars. We ended falling asleep there but I couldn't have been happier. I woke up and looked up at Adrian sleeping soundly. I sat up and looked around. I felt Adrian's hands on my waist and I smiled at him.

"What time is it?" He asked

"Nine." I said kissing his cheek.

"We need to get back...I don't trust my parents in my room." I stood up and pulled him up. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders. We walked back slowly and he opened the door to his room. We saw it completely trashed and he dropped his arm.

"Adrian..." I watched him pick up broken frames.

"Look. Go. I need to clean up..."

"Adrian.."

"Katherine. Go." He threw a frame and I saw it held a picture of him and rose. I looked at him and walked out. I walked down the hall slowly and stopped when I saw Demetri and Rose.

"Did you do it?" Rose asked him.

"Yes. Not sure how long you think it will be before she finds out." Demetri said.

"Please. They won't know. Adrian is too stupid to figure it out and Katherine will be too hurt to figure this out."

"What did you do?" I asked walking up.

"Nothing." Rose said.

"Really. Then what's this?" I pulled up a video on my phone.

"You don't deserve him."

"You cheated on him!" She slammed me against the wall and held a knife to my throat.

"Distance yourself from him." She walked off and I felt blood.

~a few weeks later~

Its been three weeks since that day and I opened my door one morning and saw Adrian. Last night marked the 20th missed called and 30th ignored text.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.

"Now is a bad time Adrian." I said. He walked in and I shut the door taking a deep breath.

"I get I overreacted that day but you've ignored me." He sat on the arm of the chair and looked at me. "What did I do?"

"I can't explain here. Meet me around midnight. The courtyard. Okay?"

"Why can't you explain?"  I grabbed a notepad and wrote something on it. He looked over my shoulder and I looked at him.

"That's why I can't explain here. Don't forger. Midnight." I opened the door and he left. I shut the door and saw his jacket on the chair. I picked it up and a box fell from the pocket. I bent down and picked it up. Adrian came back.

"Don't open that." He took the box and his jacket.

"What is it?"

"Find out later." I looked at him and he leaned down so our lips were almost touching.

"Adrian..."

"You can stop me..." Just before his lips touched mine my door burst open. I turned and saw Rose.

"Crap.." She walked over and pushed me against the wall.

"What did I tell you?" She asked.

"Stay away from him." I met Adrian's eyes and held my dagger tightly. "I realized. You don't control me." I cut her side and kicked her in the chest. I put my dagger to her throat. "Give me one reason. It would be so easy to kill you. So easy to end you..."

"Then do it." I dropped the dagger and stood up.

"No. I won't stoop to your level. But if you interfere with me and him again I will personally rip you to shreds. Now get out of my sight." After she left I picked up my dagger. Adrian wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my jaw.

"Now. Will you go to dinner with me?" He asked.

"I have a better idea..." I turned around and kissed him passionately. He picked me up and walk to the bedroom. He laid me on the bed and kissed my neck. I unbuttoned his shirt and kisses his shoulder. He bit my lip and tugged on it.

"I missed you." He kissed my neck and unbuttoned my skirt. I pulled my shirt over my head and kissed him. He kissed my shoulder and slid my skirt down.

"Wait...just a sec." He groaned and got off me. "I just...."

"I get it. Don't be rushed okay?" He kissed my cheek and I smiled.

"I should get dressed." I stood up and grabbed a tank top and shorts. I pulled them on and pulled my hair in a bun. I stood in front of my mirror. Adrian stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head against him and smiled.

"I love you." He said kissing my cheek. I turned and wrapped my arms around his neck. "You are the most beautiful girl I know."

"Where's this coming from?"

"I wanted to do this differently...but I can't wait."

"What do you mean?" He turned and picked up the box. He got down on one knee and opened the box. "Adrian.."

"Katherine Belikov, I love you so much. I think I always have since the day I met you. I want to keep loving you forever. Will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?" I looked at him.

"Adrian...I..."
