It had been a few days after The Horned Kings were beaten, MK's powers were restored, and everyone was brought to the hospital. MK was given a few days off from work, but continued to visit his loved ones, his friends.

Pigsy had a broken arm, but could still very well scold someone or run a restaurant.

Mei just needed a lot of rest. She healed rather quickly since a few days passed in minutes because of her watching videos, going to social media, and texting MK.

Sandy was doing much better as well. The muscle seemed to help him quite a lot and he wasn't too injured. He was also proud of Moe for watching over the ship while he went over to save the city. Moe got a treat that day.

And finally, Tang, while he had been injured, he was much better now and actually able to walk. But he had concluded he needed a better weapon than a staff, while MK said 'staffs were his thing'.

And finally, MK was in his mech, setting it in a different place so it wouldn't fall over and ruin the reconstruction of his apartment. He stayed at Mei's and Tang's place a few times, but wasn't sure where to stay until it was completely built again.

"Aren't you supposed to be off celebrating?" A familiar voice asked.

MK gasped and looked out the mech to see The Monkie King himself, sitting on the shoulder of his Monkey Warrior Mech. "Monkie King!!!"

"Hey, kid." Sun Wukong greeted as he jumped down from the mech along with MK and then looked at him. "I'm really proud of you, MK. I think I might have actually taught you something!" He laughed cheekily.

MK laughed. "Well, you're a great warrior and teacher!"

Monkie King smirked at that as his ego boosted just a little. "Yeah, I'm pretty great."

MK tried not to squeal for a second, but then punched himself in the gut, making his squeal disappear. "So, why are you here?"

"To tell you why you should be celebrating somewhere and to congratulate you." Wukong said simply.

"Oh! Right!" MK said with a smile.

"But also to tell you that your training starts tomorrow." The Monkie King said suddenly as he looked up at the sky.

MK's eyes widened and he shook his head rapidly. "Training...?"

"You think a few pep talks and an inspirational message is going to give you the sole power to defeat all my foes? Nah. You need much more training and a place to sleep."

"Y-You're...You're going to train me?!"

"Mhm- Kid. Kid, are you ok?"

MK had finally let out a squeal before he cleared his throat and bowed. "I'll, uhh, make you proud, sensei."

The Monkie King was rather amused, but he bowed back. "I have no doubt you will. You've already made me very proud." He then set a hand on his shoulder. "My subjects once thought I made a dangerous choice, but after seeing what you did to DBK AND The Horned Kings? I don't think I made a bad choice at all."

MK smiled and hugged him.

Wukong chuckled and patted his back. "Come on, kid. You can stay at Flowerfruit Mountain until your weird monastery and cart with colors is rebuilt. Take the mech with ya. It really flatters my image."

"You mean my apartment and my Cloud Roadster?"

"Kid, I'm like 4,000 years old. I know what I'm saying."

"Oh! So you know what a car is?"

"A what?"
