My Sister's fiance

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked rapidly at the bright white light that blinded me . after my eyes got used to the light I looked around and realized I was in the hospital and that I was connected to drips and my head was bandaged. I then realized that someone was holding my hand and I looked down at Damian who's head was on the side of my bed and guessing from his slow breathing I know that he was sleeping.

I gently squeezed his hand and  he lifted his head and looked at me the sleep immediately disappearing from his eyes .
" Baby you are awake" he said and I frowned at him for I didn't know why he was calling me that when he was my sister's fiance ; come to think of it I couldn't even remember what happened nor why I was even in the hospital.
" Why are you calling me baby and why am I here ? What happened?" I asked and he frowned " you can't remember?" He asked and I shooked my head . " Hold on I am going to get the doctor and Janel she went to get me coffee" he said and I nodded.

Soon he returned with Janel and the doctor who introduced himself as doctor Talor and said
" Sophie I am glad to see that you are awake but, you have temporarily amnesia . You won't be able to remember anything now but, hopefully over time your memory will returned. I am going to prescribe some medication for you and I suggest you take them and get as much sleep and nurishment that you can and please take it easy ". I nodded and he left and Janel said
" I think it is better that you don't remember what happened . You are only going to beat yourself up over it and we don't want that. Anyways it doesn't matter anymore and the only thing you should focus on right now is to get better".

I looked at Damian and saw that he looked sad and I frowned and asked " what's wrong? Is it Rose. Oh God I didn't hurt her did I ? Is she hurt ? I want to talk to her where is she?"  Damian made a move towards me but, same time Rose entered and I exhaled a sigh of relief when I saw that she was ok. " I am right here Sophie. I am so sorry that  this happened to you. I heard what the doctor said and I promise you that Damian and I will help you through this" she said as he stroke my cheek and i  noticed that Janel and Damian were looking at her in shock and then in anger and I knew that something was wrong.

Damian then said " Rose I need to talk to you in private now" and with a strained smile at me she left with Damian and I turned to Janel and said " please te me what's going on. Damian looks as if he can't stand to see my sister and you too. You all look angry  and I want to know why". Janel sigh and taking my hand she said
" They are just a bit tired because of all the stress of the wedding planning and no couple is perfect Sophie so they are going to look angry sometime but, as far as I know they are ok otherwise except for worrying over you that is". I nodded and said " ok I don't want them to lose each other because I love both of them and I would hate to have them separated and I know Damian love's my sister . He is crazy about her". Janel nodded saying
" Yea he is " but , she didn't sound convincing.
