My Sister's fiance

Beach Date

I woke up feeling like a new person and as I got out of bed I suddenly felt a rush and a memory of my sister grabbing me by my head and hitting it into the wall flashed before my eyes and I gasped . Something wasn't right how could my sister do something like that I thought to myself and I took a deep breath and shook the memory away because I don't believe that my sister would do something like that; I refuse to believe it.

I quickly went through my bathroom routine and catch my hair up in a ponytail and slip on matching black leggings and black crop top and my white sneakers and went downstairs for my morning coffee before going for a run. As I stood in the kitchen sipping my coffee the doorbell rang and I set the cup down on the marble countertop and went to answer it; because Rose was still asleep.

I opened the door and came face to face with Damian and putting on my fakest of smiles I said
" Good morning Damian please come in . Rose is still asleep , but come . I will have Kate prepare a hot cup of coffee for you". He nodded and entered following me into the living room where he took a seat on the soft white couch. " How are you ?" He asked as I handed him his coffee two minutes later. I sat across from him in the seperate couch and replied " good . I have a beach date with phillip today so I am very much looking forward to that. How are you?" He looked at me his mouth in a tight line and said " I am fine. Sophie you need to listen to me please . Rose isn't....." But before he could finish Rose entered into the living room and seeing him burst into a bright smile saying " honey   this is a surprise . I am so glad to see you babe. What are you guys chatting about?" She asked as she kissed him fully on the lips and sat down on his lap wrapping her arms around his neck.

Damian sigh and said " nothing Rose was just telling  me about her beach date and speaking of dates how about we go catch a movie this afternoon and the have dinner at a restaurant?" Rose smiled and kissed him again saying " I would love that very much"  and getting up I said
" Well I will see you guys later. I am going for a run and then I will come back and get ready for my date with phillip"  Rose smiled and said " I am glad that you have a boyfriend now . Lord knows it's been so long , but i am happy for you" .
 
I smiled and left feeling as if I was missing out on something and I couldn't stop wondering what Damian wanted to tell me before Rose entered .
