My Sister's fiance

Fired

I followed my sister to the airport on Friday so that she could take a plane to Italy. I hugged her tightly as the call for the passengers on her flight to board announced over the intercom.  " I am going to miss you . Please hurry and come back ok ?" She smiled and hugged me saying " I promise I will be back soon and with mom and aunt Maggie . In the meantime take care of yourself".

I then  drove back home where I was surprised to see Janel my best friend waiting on me in the living room ." Hey dear . So your sister is gone huh?" I flopped down in the couch sadly and answered " yep so it is just me and Kate in this mansion" . " Well I am not going to let you lie around all sad and depressed we are going out . There is this party that I have tickets to so you are coming " she said. I looked at her knowing that her mind was set and I smiled
" Fine pick me up at 8 " chuckling she said " no problem I will see you then ".

After she had left Kate our maid made me a delicious lunch of grilled cheese sandwiches and freshly squeezed orange juice. I then put in a movie and spend the rest of the day watching it. I got ready at 7 in the below outfit and hairstyle.

When Janel arrived my mouth fell opened at what she was wearing which was this:

" Um Janel what is that ?" I asked in shock. Laughing she said " this is my outfit baby girl . On the other hand I must say you are looking very Christian tonight". I looked down at myself and frowning asked " what's wrong with what I am wearing?" . She sigh and said " nevermind . just know that you aren't getting anyone in that outfit, besides the Christian guys. Come on let's party".

We went to a club which was  booming with music and the people dancing, drinking and talking.
" Want something to drink ?" Janel shouted over the music and I shouted " yea get me a shot of vodka". She disappeared towards the bar and I stood dancing in the far corner away from everyone else as partying wasn't really my thing. I was so busy dancing and looking for Janet that I didn't notice Damian until he tapped me on the shoulder.
" Sofia is that you?" He asked and I looked at him in surprised " Damian what are you doing here?" Laughing he said " I should be asking you that . I didn't picture you as the partying type". Smiling I said " I am not . it's my best friend Janel she asked me to come with her .I didn't have anything else to do so I came ". Looking over at the bar he said " come on let me buy you a drink". I shooked my head " no thank you .Janel already left to get me one .oh here she comes now". Janel came over to us and handed me my vodka and said
" What's up Damian sorry about your wedding. That's a bummer". He nodded " yea sure is , but I understand and I support Rose I mean this is an important task so she had to go ". We partied the rest of the night away and afterwards Damian drove me home and I fell into the bed totally drunk and tired. In the morning when I woke up I saw that it was midday and I checked my phone my heart racing because I should have been at work long time and I opened a message from my boss which said:
Sofia I know you are late again and this is the 19th time and I can't allow this to continue . I am very sorry , but I will have to let you go. I have a reference which you can pick up tomorrow and also a two months payment . Again I am sorry , but I have to do this and I sincerely wish you the best.
I sigh and held my head in my hands wishing that it was all a dream , but I knew it wasn't I was fired.
