/(name) gets a wake up call

A bang echoed as her fist landed against the door frame, a searing pain blooming in her foot. "Shit!"

"That's what you get for daydreaming~" Mina hummed as she maneuvered around the girl whose face scrunched in pain as she doubled over.

(Name) was dazed. Her slowly swelling arm was proof, pinched silly as reassurance she wasn't going insane. Warm cheeks and a little lightheaded, but then again, her entire body felt feverish.

What was she lying for? She was giddy.

The walk of shame as Aizawa escorted them to their rooms was something she'd never live down, but there was a nagging part of her that felt like it was kind of worth it.

What even happened last night? Katsuki kissed her, and she didn't hate it. That's all. For once, she wasn't going to overthink it.

"Hey!" She grinned to herself, chasing Mina down the hallway.

"Midoriya and (Lastname)," Aizawa called out once they gathered outside, flashing a particularly menacing face as he crossed out their names on his clipboard.

Apparently, this was the optimal pairing to train Third-Eye since Midoriya was versatile and quick on his feet. (Name) suspected it was just because they had the most confusing, hard to control quirks.

It wasn't easy to explain there was a 'spirit' inside her, who unlike Tokoyami's dark shadow, could take over at any moment. And Midoriya always rambled on about taiyaki and some egg in the microwave.

Fortunately, it seemed Asura was warming up to the idea of working together. She talked to him more now, like a friend, not a creature she had to deal with.

He'll always be the one who initiated the incident that changed their lives, but it was because those thoughts already festered in her mind.

It wasn't completely forgiven, but the longer she took to accept it, the longer it'd take to reach the future she wanted and promised her sister.

A fist missed her face by a hair, autonomously dodging just in time as she distanced herself from the green-haired boy. Eyes a saintly white. "Be careful."

(Name) muttered a thank you, regaining full control as Asura passed the wheel. "And stop fantasizing about that dumb brat already. It's gross."

"I wasn't even thinking about him!" She blurted in defense, knowing full well he was trying to rile her up. There was no way to lie to him anyway.

"...about Kacchan?" Midoriya called out as she continued to bicker with no one, reminding her they were in the middle of sparring.

"Yeah," she replied, a little caught off guard by his directness. "I mean no,"
