Snows days are something that every kid who can experience snow hopes for. Well, today, that wish came upon my school, for this day was a snow day.

It started off with my mom driving me to school. When we got to the parking lot, there were almost no cars there. You see, on a snow day, a lot of the cubs students still show up to school. It's the ones who walk and drive that stay home. I don't know why.

Today was also pajama day, but Sam and Becca didn't wear their pjs. I wore a long flannel shirt, and Carlee wore pink pants and a pink shirt. Mine was really comfortable.

When I went to English class, there were only five people present. It was actually humorous. Catherine suggested we play scrabble, so we did. I had never played scrabble before, and after playing it once, I will probably never play it again. It is very boring.

When it was time for Science, there were actually quite a lot of people there. Probably around 11, which is a lot for a snow day. We just watched some videos that were both terribly annoying and depressing. Global warming is a depressing subject.

At lunch, Carlee, Sam, Becca, and I just sat in our normal spot and ate normal food. A ton of people left for the second half of the day, most likely because nobody was here. So many people love snow days because you get to stay home and do nothing, but I always go to school, because there is never enough people for the teacher to teach a regular lesson.

When the bell for third period rang, there was only me and Thomas sitting outside the shop. I waited for five minutes for the teacher to show up, but when he didn't, I left to put away my books and fill up my water bottle. I came back at 12:15 and sat outside the classroom for another 15 mins before he showed up. It was already half an hour into the period, but that didn't really matter, because I still got to work on my deck project.

French had the most people of the day, but that's because it's a completely full class on a normal day, so there are a lot of people to begin with. Nonetheless, we did no work, and instead watched a French movie. It was funny, but if you have to watch a movie with subtitles in a different language, it kind of ruins the fun.

After school, I got a drive home from Shelly, Becca's mom. I sat on the couch and played the Sims 3 until my parents got home, and we left to go to Lonestar. It wasn't very crowded when we arrived, so we got a table pretty quick. Our family shared a Texas-sized fajita dish, and it was really good. I had a mini accomplishment in that I went out to dinner in pajamas and nobody noticed. Or at least I think no one noticed, but how would I know, right?

We went Andrew's hockey game after dinner. It was at INVISTA, and his team won. Ethan left with Andrew and Talya, and we drove back to the house. I drove from our house to the McConnell's, and I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. I played on my computer for the whole time, and then we left, and I drove back home as well. I didn't stop at a stop sign, and dad have me trouble for that, so now I know to always, even if there are no cars coming from other directions, to come to a complete stop at stop signs.

The day was good, and tomorrow is Ethan's birthday. He is turning 13.
