Today started as a bad day, then turned good, then bad, then even worse, and now it's kind of in between. Today is Tuesday. Tomorrow is the last day before exams start, which means my construction project is due tomorrow. Which would be okay, except I have to do my write up, and all my drawings, and I haven't done any of them yet.
I woke up not wanting to go to school. I knew if I moved my alarm clock away from my bed, then I would have to get out of bed to turn it off. I did that, but I got right back into bed right away. I just did not want to get out of bed this morning. I was SO TIRED!! But I eventually got out of bed. Reluctantly.
I drove to school again, and the sides of the roads were very bumpy. I didn't crash though, so that was good. When I got to school, I put on my boots and went to class. We worked on essays today, and the essay we have to write has to have one introduction paragraph, one paragraph relating to Romeo & Juliet, one paragraph relating to Lord Of The Flies, and a concluding paragraph. The teacher is giving us two topics to choose from, even though there is basically nothing the same about the play and the novel. It's really annoying.
In Science we studied for the Physics unit. That was the unit in which I received 100% on the test. The best mark I've ever gotten in my life. And I was pleased to hear that I still knew everything. One less thing to study.
At lunch we had an addition to our group. A girl named Catherine, who's in some of my classes. She works at McDonald's, and Carlee kept asking her what was in every single type of food there. I guess she wanted to know if anything gross was in the food. Apparently there isn't, which was news to me. I always thought the food was fake. You learn something new every day.
I should have been working on my write up in construction, but I really just sat around and listened to the teacher tell Thomas how to write it. I was looking for tips. No time for anything else. At one point I just left the room. The ratio of girls to guys was too small for me to be in that room the whole class. It was a sad 1:30. And yes, I was the only girl in the room. And yes, I was ignoring everyone else that was in the room at the time. So, I just went to my locker, ate a chewy bar, took my puffer, had some gum, and got my water bottle. The class ended soon after that.
We went over the french exam review sheets finally, but it didn't really help except to show me that I suck. That's all I learned from French class today. I also learned that even if I completely bomb the exam, and by bomb I mean get no marks at all, I will still get a 76% in the course. That's why paying attention and trying your best is important. Because when you do, your mark on the exam wont be as important.
When I got home, I sat down on the couch and started watching Glee, while simultaneously doing my construction write-up. I finished the whole thing luckily, but I still haven't done any of the scale drawings. I have a feeling I'm going to be working on drawing during English and Science tomorrow. And that kind of sucks, but the drawings are due sooner, so they take priority. Sorry required English, you're not as important as elective construction. Actually, I'm not sorry at all. I like construction. Even though I didn't do much most of the time, I still really like that class, and I'm kind of upset that it's going to be over.
Speaking of classes almost being over, I got my time-table today. I have math, chemistry, tech design, and gym. I'm only taking 1 academic class, 1 university class, and two open classes. Which is which is probably easy to guess. Also, Becca has the exact same schedule as me, Carlee has the last three, and Sam has the last two. It's perfect.
This is officially the longest update I've done. I just feel bad for making such short updates, and this is actually being written on the 20th of January in 2015! So I vividly remember almost everything that has happened today.
But nothing more than what I've written has happened, unfortunately, so I'll see you next time. When that may be, I have no idea.
Oh, side note. I also watched a new episode of The Flash, Pretty Little Liars, and Supernatural. I have been waiting for The Flash and Supernatural to come back on since December, so that was pretty exciting. Arrow and The 100 are on tomorrow, and you know I will be writing my entry for tomorrow while I am watching both of those shows, and also studying for my English exam at the same time.
The life of a multitask-er can be so hard, but when you get more things done and in less time, it's worth it.
I'm going to write this sentence to get my word count at 900. Good job, Kyra.
