"You all can come out now."

Aizawa's POV

Honestly, at this rate, I'm not even surprised he could tell where we were. All of us complied to his command, which would look pretty weird, since we all are adults and he is said to be 14. Stepping out of the darkness, we finally got a good look of our surroundings, taking in the view. There was a glistering river that looked completely calm, no waves or currents in sight. The trees were grown in such a neat and perfect way with a certain type of fruits and flowers on each tree. They looked like someone picked them up from their original spot and arranged them neatly. The grass patch near the river was almost glowing green and had flowers on them. I would also like to point out how everything seemed to shine even in the dead of night.

Its was so beau- WAIT. I'm getting distracted and I could tell everyone else was too. "This place is so beautiful," Nemuri said, earning a glare from me for going off the purpose of following the young vigilante. She smirked and just gave me a shrug that basically said, ' I'm just stating facts '. This caused me to activate my quirk to intensify my glare and she reacted by whistling and looked away. I deactivate my quirk and sigh. I turn my attention to the child who was a good 7 metres away from us.

My attention focused on the boy when he started talking. "It really is, isn't it. Sadly, the man-made purpose that humans have used for for many years is quite the opposite," he says with a sigh at end. "Young one, may you elaborate on that," Mic, my usually loud husband that is eerily quiet now, says softly. "Oh right, people like you don't know this place. My apologies, that slipped my mind," he says, looking up at the sky. "People like us?" Nemuri says as confused as  all of us. He  faces us, giving us a good view of his eyes. His eyes were electric green, shining like the grass below him.

He then says, "This is place is called The Sirens River. It's a place known to the defects of the community. The ones who society labelled as the weak ones. Just for one stupid thing called quirks. Can you believe how they shunned us because we either have a weak, useless, dangerous or lack of quirks?" he asks with pure venom lacing his voice, eyes burning with hatred that someone his age shouldn't have.

This caused all of us to tense up. Many people with the said problems often disappear or commit suicide, which is really a sad situation that us heroes are trying to stop. Its harder than you would think it is because the heroes before us and some heroes among us left a pretty bad impression on the whole society of heroes, causing most of these victims of horrible lives not trust us.

"Well, this place isn't just known for its beauty to us. The real story behind this river is that people with problems come here to get away from the harsh world they live in. They can come here to smoke and drink, and for some reason, the nature is never affected by it. I've caught a couple cutting here. And last but certainly not least, most people that come here are here to off themselves. I don't blame them. It would be nice for this to be the last thing you see before you finally end all your pain," he says, turning away from us. This caused us to freeze. Was this where all the people who gone missing disappeared to? What happened to their bodies?

The kid seems to know what my internal conflict was and says, "If you're wondering where the bodies went, I buried some and laid the rest where someone who loved them would find. Reason being, the people I bury the body, they all come from places where no one loved them, so why give back their bodies when they can just rest in peace in this beautiful place. The rest have at least someone who cherishes them, thus, me giving back their bodies. Its pretty sad if you ask me," he says with another sigh.

"In fact, 2 adults hung themselves where you're standing, Snipe. Sorry buddy, but a 9 year old kid slit his throat where you're standing, Power Loader. And a teen overdosed at the spot you're standing on Eraser," he says in an awfully monotoned voice. The three of us that were called out shifted to another position up hearing this gruesome fact. "But most people go into the river to die. It's pretty freaky if you ask me. The minute you set foot into the water, something pulls you down, causing you to drown, and when you finally die, you will always float back to the top. That's how I manage to get the bodies of the suicide victims in this place. People say its the spirits of whoever died here that pulls you down, not for revenge, but because they seem to think that you are also in the same pain they were in when they were alive," he says. This freaked me out, because that is hella creepy.
