Chapter ✧ 5

- ji eun's pov -

I was walking on the school grounds with my best friend, Soobin, when suddenly, the students started to run to where the school gates were. They were mostly males, and it was odd. I don't usually see male students running to somewhere at the same time. I looked up to Soobin, and our eyes met. We were both confused.

Suddenly, we sighted camera flashes outside the school, and a large black van in the open parking lot. The car door opens, and a lady got outside of it. She looked the same age as me. She smiled for the camera, and that made me realize that she was another idol. Another girl got off the car, and she also looked the same age as me.

"Woah, they're invading this school," Soobin says, and I slap his arm lightly for his foul comment.

"Stop being judgemental. They just want to learn too, unlike you, who hates studying and gets C minus all the time." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Yah I just got C plus last time!" He counters. Then, another crowd came running towards somewhere. Now, they are all girls. That's when I knew it was Treasure, the group where Jihoon is.

"I have to go now," I said, and I waved at Insoo goodbye.

"Bye bye. Be careful you might get dragged there. You know how tiny you are." I rolled my eyes at him, and I turned around to where the crowd is, and where my next class is.

I sighed, taking a step forward to walk and attempt to pass through there, and luckily I got through. Or so I thought. I dropped my binder, so I had to look for it. When I finally did, someone got it first. I rushed towards where that person was. I noticed that the students backed off a bit.

"Thank you..." I said. I looked at the guy who was holding up my binder. It was a Treasure member. I could feel cameras focused at my direction. Shoot.

"No problem," he replied and smiled. I was about to get the binder, but he held it up even more. What's wrong with this idol?

"I'm Junkyu by the way," he said, and offered a handshake. I accepted it, and he finally gave my binder. I ran towards my class as fast as I could. I'm going to be late again if I won't hurry. Then suddenly, I was pulled by someone. I almost screamed.

"Who the-" "it's me" It was just Jihoon. I sighed in relief, finally knowing it's not one of those jerks who would pull you in a corner, and make fun of you.

"What is it?" I asked him. "Help me," he answers.

"Why? I'm running late."

"Please. I have to get away from those girls. I can't pass through." I sighed, and looked at him once again. I'm going to drown in his gaze seriously. I looked away and rolled my eyes.

"Fine. Come with me."

He basically can't go to his class 'til the bell rings. If he stays here, a lot of girls will find him. Obviously. I had to bring him to the top floor, where the computer laboratory is. It's new. The CCTV cameras haven't been placed because this is the newest building in the campus. So, we're safe.

"Woah, it's cold in here," he comments when I pushed him inside. I can't believe I'm getting myself late just for this guy.

"Are you sure no one can find us here?" He asked. I nodded. "Are you sure?" He asked again.

"Yes." "Are you really sure?" I glared at him, and shouted. "Yes! My gosh!"

He laughed. How annoying. "What's your name again?" He asked.

"Why do you have to know?" I asked him. "Nothing. I just want to know. You've helped me a lot."

Yes that is true, and I'm getting myself late for him. I just hope they won't deduct this to my grades!

"It's Ji Eun," I said. "Oh. Okay. Hi, Ji Eun," he said and waved his hands.

"Hi... Jihoon?" I said.

"You know it's weird. Your name and my name sounds alike," He says. I agree to that. It sounds weird. Ji Eun. Jihoon.

"Do you have a nickname or something?" He asked.

"I don't," I replied. Ji Eun is a short name. That's why I don't have those nicknames.

"Other name?" He asked.

"You really want to call me by something else that's not Ji Eun huh?" I asked him, and he smiled and nodded. Even his eyes are smiling.

"It's Jessica," I said. He's now one of the few people who knows my english name.

"Jeshica?" He pronounced.

"You're pronouncing it wrong. It's Jessssica," I said, and he tried to pronounce it right. Thankfully, he can pronounce it well.

"Jessica. Okay!" He said and smiled once again. He likes smiling that much? It's cute tho-wait what?

Finally, the bell rang, and we can now leave that small room. We both left immediately. Running towards our classes. We didn't say our good-byes. We were running too late. I just noticed that he's gone, and ran to my class again.
