It's been months since I got here, and the classes have already started. I'm in the last year of highschool, and I am luckily getting remarkable grades.
I went out to get some ramen cup noodles for my daily meals. I don't often eat healthy foods due to the fact that I study all the time, and I don't do breakfasts too. But, I am not skinny, if that's what you're thinking. I have a normal body, and a normal weight because I still eat a lot, it's just that I don't eat healthily.
As I opened the store door, the cashier immediately greeted me a good morning. I was about to greet her in return, but her attention wasn't on me, it was on someone or something at the beverages isle. I didn't want to disturb her, so I just took a basket, and went to the ramen noodles isle.
I was about to get the noodles that I needed when I heard footsteps coming closer to this isle. I looked up to see who it was, and noticed that it was a guy who looked a bit familiar to me. I didn't want to seem weird for him, so I took my eyes off of him.
I noticed that he was getting closer to me, and I was quite concerned of what he's about to do. In panick mode, my thoughts rushed into my mind such as, Is he going to harass me? Please don't. Is he going to get my number? No that's certainly impossible.
In full relief, he just did what I was about to do as well. To get ramen noodles. I let out a sigh nonchalantly, and I covered my mouth immediately. He looked at me, and his eyebrows were furrowed. Oh gosh, busted. I really shouldn't judge people that much.
He chuckles as he took the cup noodles from the rack. He raised it a little, and smiled at me. He looked so handsome and adorable! His eyes were also smiling at me. He's suited for a K-Pop idol.
"I'm just gonna get this, miss," he said.
I snapped out of my thoughts, and fixed the strands that covered my face.
"Yeah. Sure. Right," I said, and turned my back on him. I smacked my face with my hand, and smacked it again because I forgot to fetch the ramen noodles. I saw him laugh, and I just gave him an awkward smile. This is embarrassing.
I walked towards the cashier counter to pay for everything. The guy stood next to me and payed his goods at the second counter. Both of the ladies in the counter were staring at this guy. I can't blame them, he is good-looking, but it's their high-pictched tone murmuring were the ones that made me annoyed.
It gives me the cringe, and the goosebumps. I have to make this stop. I looked at they guy, and gathered up all the courage I had today. "Have I seen you before?" I asked.
He checked me from head to toe, which I found very creepy, but I understand him. "I think I did. At the bus? Last month? But... you were sleeping, so I guess you don't—" Then he cutted my words off.
"Oh... yeah I remember you. You actually caught my attention— not because of your face— I mean it is also because of that, but not because you're beautiful— I mean you are beautiful...oh goodness..." He lets out a sigh, and massaged his temples. I stopped myself from laughing out loud. I guess he's feeling way more awkward than me.
"It's because of your luggages. Yeah. Your luggages. It was too many," he said, and I nodded. I looked at the ladies, and they were both giving me a death glare.
Goodness, chill out. It's not like I'm going to steal him from you. I do not have the time for dating. I have to study, and it's not like he's going to be interested in me or something.
The lady finally gave me my bag of payed cup noodles, and he also recieved his. Both of us got out at the same time, and he and I smiled.
"Uh... see ya," he said and ran towards I don't know where. I raised an eyebrow and laughed. What an adorable human being.
But after that encounter. We never saw each other once again.
