- ji eun's pov -
It's been exactly two years since my sister and I moved here in Korea. She's already turning sixteen while I, was turning 21 on October. I am also in college, studying interior design.
Nothing's changed. I'm still me, obviously. Just learned new things in life, and had a bunch of failures of course, but that's normal. Right?
I was reading another book on my IPad when suddenly my sister shrieked. In shock, I looked at her. I wasn't panicking though, it's normal for me to see her like this. Mostly because of...
"The new YG K-Pop boygroup is going to debut tonight!" Yeah because of that.
I too, is a k-pop fan, and I also tend to do that often, but my sister is more updated on upcoming debuts of new k-pop groups. I, on the other side, is just studying and watching their videos at my free time, and listening to their music of course.
"What time is it going to be uploaded?" I ask. "7 PM," She replies.
I looked at the time on my watch, and it was already 6:58 PM. That explains why she screamed.
I sat next to my sister, to watch whatever she's waiting for. I am curious about this new boygroup of YG's. I am a fan of Blackpink, and they are from that entertainment that's why I am curious about this. I wanted to see how they perform.
"Omg! It's up!" My sister clicked the music video, and it started playing. I looked at the time and it was already 7:02 PM. I chuckled. "They're late, huh?" I said.
After the ad played, the song started. The screen flashed a ball was on fire and it quickly made me interested to watch the whole thing.
My sister beside me is already freaking out while shouting the names of these young men. "How many are they?" I asked her.
"Twelve," She answered.
My eyes widened. Twelve. Wow. The last 12-membered boygroup I stanned was EXO, and that was years ago until some of the members started to leave the group.
"And, you know all of them?" I asked my sister once again, and she nodded twice.
I looked at the screen, and saw the guy with a dyed light-red hair. I furrowed my eyebrows. I think I've seen him somewhere. I really do feel like I know him. Well, not really know know him. Just seen him or talked to him once, but that's impossible. I can't possibly talk to a rising k-pop idol. That's just ridiculous. Their entertainment is way too strict. I guess. I'm not quite sure of that.
The guy showed up once again, and I told my sister that I've really seen him somewhere. "What if he's the guy on the bus?" She asked me.
"What bus?" I asked her.
"The bus? Duh?" My sister nonchalantly replies.
I rolled my eyes at her and let out a sigh. "I've ridden hundreds of buses, Hanli. Which bus?"
"The one that we were on when we first got here!" She answers and rolled her eyes too. We really are sisters.
Wait. What did she just say? The guy from the bus when we first got here? Did I got that right? I asked her once again if I heard her correctly, and she agrees. I looked at the screen, and stared at the guy with the light-red hair.
He does look like that guy! But the mister from the bus had a very dark brown hair. Who am I kidding? Of course they can dye their hair Ji Eun! I smacked my head, and immediately searched their profile.
I stared at the light-red haired guy, and I saw that he really does look like that guy. Well, there's only one way to find out if he's really that guy. Attend their concert and be in a fanmeeting. That is, if I am that lucky to be in one.
