Anyways, baby Maka eventually lands on a river bank and would be dead or eaten alive if it wasn't for the arrival of Artemis. Then because Artemis didn't want child raising to get in the way of her passion, which is hunting, she gives baby Maka to Persephone, goddess of spring and queen of the underworld.

So, because Persephone is supposed to be in the underworld for 6 months a year, she ends up bringing baby Maka with her. So during the 6 months, Maka gets trained by thanatos, the God of peaceful death, and during the other 6 months she is trained by Athena, Artemis, Yevvalonetta, and Ares.

Long story short, she becomes incredibly smart and good with battle tactics. Not only that, the other gods see her as family and treats her with love and kindness. But not everyone is having a good time, remember Kolos? He's pretty much panicking about his prophesied defeat and decides to send a monster to go and kill Maka. As soon the monster finds her location, the monster realizes that there's no way they can go up against a bunch of Gods, so they came up with a plan to trick the gods and kill Maka.

The monster turns into a beautiful nymph and calls 'herself' laila, offering to help Ganymede, the cup bearer of the gods serving the drinks. Then 'Laila' tries to sneak poison in Maka's glass, and she places the glass in the top left corner of the tray so she doesn't gives it to the wrong person.

Unfortunately, while she was helping preparing the rest of the drinks, Ganymede takes the tray and gives the poisoned glass to Zeus. By the time Laila realizes what happening, she's too late as Zeus starts coughing up blood.

Then Laila, deciding that it's now or never, attacks maka. But before she can kill her, Hephaestus lends Maka an enchanted scythe he made himself to her, then with one swipe Maka kills Laila. Oh and for a fun fact: Laila is immune to mortal weapons, but since the scythe was made by Hephaestus, the God of forgery, Laila was killed easily.

Then Kolos just straight up sent a bunch of monsters just to kill her, and they all fail miserably, then his adviser just told him "look, just poison her. She's mortal remember?". Then he did exactly what he was told. But because the other gods saw her as family, they pretty much brought her back to life, so jokes on Kolos amirite?

Then one day, Kolos, thinking that he's safe now, decided to invade the rest of Greece. Then the rest of the soul eater cast ( except soul, who you'll hear later) along with Maka, came up to fight for Greece. But before Maka went into battle, Hermes, Athena, and Yevvalonetta showed up and said "you aren't going to battle in THAT young lady!" and gave her gifts. Athena gave her an enchanted shield that'll be able to hold off anything, Hermes gave her enchanted shoes to run fast, and Yevvalonetta gave her magic armor that'll increase her strength and won't let anything penetrate the armor.

Then, when our army of heroes went to battle, literally almost all warriors, except Maka, DTK, Liz, Patty, Crona, Tsubaki, and Black Star chickened out as soon as they saw the enemy. Then Yevvalonetta turned the runaway army into chickens and cats cuz symbolism amirite?

Then literrally almost all the soul eater cast get murdered. Except Maka obviously cuz of the gifts she got and when Kolos saw that he was LOSING, he sees Maka, puts two and two together, and draws his sword while screaming "FACE ME PROPHECY CHILD!!!" and they get into a fight. And while Maka is distracted, Kolos tries to stab her with his sword, but it instantly shatters as soon as it hits her armor. Then Maka finishes him off by slitting his throat with her scythe.

Then, everyone who's still alive comes out and celebrates Maka's victory. Her dad becomes king of Kolos's kingdom and everyone lived happily ever after.

But it isn't over yet
