Rainbow's POV
It was a normal day.
Rainbow was on a morning walk. Her mom was with her little sis, Mist. She really liked her. Mist looks a lot like Beach, Rainbow thought.
Mist also liked the outdoors, except today she stayed in because her favorite show was on the TV.
Rainbow's stomach grumbled, and she realized that she didn't have breakfast this morning.
As she headed home to make some pancakes for the family and herself, she noticed two other hens walking down the road. They were quite far away, so she couldn't see their beak and tail colors clearly.
Oh well, they're probably just taking a morning walk like me, Rainbow thought, and they quickly faded from her mind.
When she arrived home, she could hear Mist's cute laugh, and Wave talking to Beach on the phone.
"I'm home!", Rainbow said as she opened the door.
"Rainbow!", Mist said, running over to Rainbow as fast as she could. Then she tackled Rainbow, knocking her over.
"Okay, okay. Now, who's ready for some strawberry pancakes?
"Me! Me!", her little sister said, jumping up and down.
Rainbow entered the kitchen and got to work first she got the ingredients and put them aside to mix up later.
As she was getting a cupful of water from the sink, she noticed that the two hens that she had saw earlier were walking again, but closer. She could now see their tail feathers.
But strangely, they weren't blue.
They were green.
Wave's POV
Wave was sitting on the couch, talking to Beach about Mist and Rainbow, when she heard Rainbow call her name.
"What, Rainbow?", Wave asked.
"Well, I see...um, it's probably better if you come here first.....", Rainbow said in sort of a worried tone.
Wave said goodbye to Beach and quickly walked over to the kitchen. "Look out of the sink's window," Rainbow instructed.
Wave looked out.
At first, she saw nothing wrong. Then she saw the green-tailed hens.
"What are green hens doing in the Blue Territory?"
