Elizabeth's POV
Prom is finally here! For the past week, I've been getting my hair done, manicures, pedicures, looking for the right dress, shoes and finally, accessories.
It was tiring and fun. I looked at myself in the mirror. I look pretty good. My blond hair is set in long curls and my make up is simple and sweet. I'm in a purple gown and two and a half inch high heels.
Now, I'm waiting for Lance Grey, my prom date. He'll pick me up in a limo. I hope he picks a corsage that matches my dress.
I guess you can say that we're an item now. I'm expecting my first kiss from him tonight. If he kisses me tonight, he'll be my first kiss.
The door bell rang and I checked myself in the mirror one last time. I rushed down the stairs and opened the door.
The first thing he said was, “You're beautiful,”
I replied, “You're not bad yourself too,”
He took out a black box and opened it. It's my corsage, I realised. And it's a purple rose.
It matches, I thought happily.
He pinned the corsage and we got into the limo. Driving to prom.
