Getting ready for the twins

Josh's POV

"So what should we do today?" I asked jen as we ate the cereal she made. I just got back from dropping Ella off at school. "Get ready for the twins." She replied and I looked at her. "Jen there not due for another three months." She's six months today. "Josh I know that but with twins it's more likely that I'll go into labor early and I don't wanna be unprepared. I mean with Ella we got a father start since we knew her ender earlier than we did this time."

I noded in agreement. "Ok, let's start getting ready." She smiled and set the the bowls in the sink. We walked upstairs and changed. I put on ripped jeens and a white T-shirt. I looked at Jen who's in This.

"Wanna know what I relized Joshy?" Jen asked as she brushed her hair and and braided it. "That I got lucky with the twins. With Ella I was throwing up every five minutes and stressing myself out so much I'd pass out. This time it's just having kartwheel's on my bladder 24/7 and constantly having to pee." 

I chuckled and she smiled. "Well I'm Glade your not in the bathroom puking all the time." She nodded and put on her sunglasses we walked downstairs and drove to th mall. We walked inside and people gasped. I could tell Jen was already anyoed. "Ok," Jen started as she grabbed her phone. "I promise this time I won't get distracted by all the cute baby clothes." I laughed and she pulled up the list on her phone. 

"so let's start with paint and wallpaper." I noded and we walked into a store. "ok I was thinking we'd leave his room while and paint one out of four of the walls a dark blue in her room." I smiled and she looked happy. "I think that's a great idea." She smiled harder and we found the paint. 

Following that we went to Babies R us. We walked inside and I tried to keep Jen from seeing the clothes. "Josh, stop it, I won't get distracted by the clothes." I let her see them and she smiled. "Nope, well do that last. But- no!" She argued under her breath and I laughed. "Ok so how about cribs?" She nodded as we started looking around. "Oh my God, jennifer Lawrence and Josh hutcherson!" Somone said and we rolled our eyes.

We found a couple cribs and dressers. "Josh, Can we get like a rocking chair or something for each of there rooms?" I smiled and noded. We found those and just decorations. We got a lot of stuff that's for sure. "Ok we need car seats, a stroller or strollers, clothes and some more bottles and dippers since we lost most off them with how crazy the past year has been." I said looking at Jen's phone. 

Jen noded and I looked at her blonde hair and blue, that soft smile, her bubbly crazy personality, even with her mood swings. "Josh what are looking at?" She mumbled and I smiled. "You." She rolled her eyes and stared at me. "I'm not that pretty. I look like a whale." I rolled my eyes too. "You don't look like a whale. You look beautiful." She sighed and stood there. "Just drop it." She mumbled and I noded. 

We kept walking and found dippers, bottles, and clothes. I should have kept clothes for last. After getting Jen away from the clothes which made her pretty upset. "Ok I like these." I told Jen and she walked over. We're finally looking at car seat's. She smiled and noded. "There beautiful. You know Josh, you may have horrible fashion sense but you can pick out some nice stuff sometimes." 

I smiled at her, "thanks- wait what?!" She laughed and smacked my arm. I laughed too and Jen had the biggest smile. It's nice not having fans running up to us this time. "Ok Joshy we really need to check out, one before I see anymore clothes and two cause we need to get Ella from school." I chuckled. "Don't worry about Ella." She looked at my confused. "Josh-" "Connors getting her." She smiled and kissed me. 

"No but seriously Josh we have to get out of here before I buy all the clothes." I chuckled and noded. We payed for everything and started getting it into the car when we heard a frimiler voice. 

Jen's POV

Fear filled my body and we turned around. I grabbed Josh's hand and started at her. "Claudia, what are you doing here?" I asked with a tremble in my voice. "Oh I just wanted to see you all. Where's Ella?" I shook my head and squezed Josh's hand. "Cludia go away before I call the police!" "Oh no I'm not leaving that easily!"

"Cludia please, just leave us alone!" I begged and she groand. "Don't you get it? I don't wanna keep bugging you!" We looked at her confused. "My mother wanted me to be with Josh for years and she's forcing me into this, you think I wanna date that? I don't even like him like that, I liked him better as a friend!" 

I sighed and let go of Josh's hand. I could tell she meant it, she was in tears right now. I hugged her and smiled. "Hey you wanna come over?" She nodded and Josh looked happy. We all got in the car and we're laughing. I felt a noise in my ear and I looked at Josh. We were sitting at a red light. He had an evil smrick and in the backseat cludia was trying not to laugh. 

"Josh!" They bursted out laughing and I rolled my eyes. "Hey Joshy." He looked at me real fast before continuing driving. "If you don't do the cricket thing for another four years, I'll- I'll let you teach me to cook real food." He chuckled. "As long as you don't burn the house down." I rolled my eyes. "I'm not that bad at cooking!" I crossed my arms and looked out the window. 

The rest of the car ride was silent untill I started laughing. "What's so funny?" Cludia asked. "I'm sorry Joshy." He chuckled too and parked. We saw Connors car and I sighed. We all got out and walked inside to find Ella has thrown dolls everywhere and her and Connor were playing princess. "Hello, Connor." He looked up scared.

"I didn't touch your ice cream!" I shook my head and laughed. "I don't care about that, what did you two do to this house? There's a reason she's supposed to keep her toys upstairs!" I went to chase him and Josh grabbed my arm. "Hey!" I whined. "I'm not letting you beat my brother's ass right now. You can do that in a few months." I crossed my arms and walked upstairs. 

I found ella now upstairs putting her toys away. "Hey baby, mommy and daddy have someone over." She smiled and hugged me. "Who is it? Was the store fun?" I smiled as I heard someone waking over to the door to Ella's room. "The store was fun and it's actually-" I was Interuoted by Claudia. "Uh Jen, Josh wants to know what rooms are what?" 

"Mommy?" Ella looked tarrifed and I hugged her. "Hey it's ok, she ok. She's our friend now." She lached onto me and I sighed. "Ella go say hi to Claudia." She got off me and walked to Claudia. "Hi." She mumbled. "Hey ella, what do say we go outside and play?" She smiled and they ran outside. I smiled and walked into one of the twins rooms to find Josh putting up the blue paint tape stuff. "You goona paint?" I asked and he turned around. "Yeah, you want to help or start decorating Eric's room?"

"Eric's room, I need a break from you." He laughed and I went downstairs and grabbed the stuff for Eric's room. I walked back upstairs and started putting the toys away and stuff. Me and Josh ended up finishing Eric's room today but not everly's cause the paint still need's to dry. Claudia went home and Ella finally went to sleep. 

"Joshy?" I mumbled as we layed in bed. "Yeah Jen?" I smiled, "are you excited to get married?" "Of course I am, are you?" I noded. "But after we get married the media will get even more crazy cause they always wanted us to get married." Josh sighed, "well it's not there life, don't worry about them. It's our life and we'll be ok." I closed my eyes with a smile. "Have relized we've been ingaged for two months and we want to have the wedding when the twins are a few weeks to a couple months old and we haven't even started planning it?"

Josh chuckled. "Well we can plan it, it's us Jen, if we can handle everything we've handled in the past six years we can plan a wedding." I giggled and he kissed my head. "Night Joshy." I mubled. "Night Jenny." I fell asleep smiling and Josh holding me. Life can't get anymore perfect.
