Also, important info: Her name is pronounced Sk-ah-DEE, not Sk-ay -DEE
Skadi is a Frost Giant who was rescued with Loki, though she was raised by Freyr, one of Odin's close allies. Her secret has been hidden all her life and she remembers no more than bits and pieces of her life on Jotunheim. She and Loki were married young.

Skadi spun around in a circle as she laughed. Loki let a small smile slip across his face as he watched her fall back onto the bed. Her arms fell limp onto the bed as she smiled up at the ceiling.
"I cannot believe they finished setting up our chambers," She let out a content sigh as she pushed herself onto her elbows.
"The Prince of Asgard getting married is kind of a big deal," Loki smiled as he slowly stepped closer to the bed where his wife was slowly sitting up. Loki leaned down to kiss her and she kissed him back.
This was their happy place. Alone, together, and in love. The two of them truly were happy. They could forget the people who treated them badly. They could forget the familial issues. They could forget everything but each other.
But, of course, they were interrupted by a knock on the door. Loki pulled away with a small annoyed sigh accompanied by an eye roll.
"One moment!" He called to whoever was at the door, "It begins," Loki said in a dread-filled voice as he brushed a hand through his hair to smooth down where Skadi's hand had been moments ago. Skadi got off of the bed and sat down at her vanity mirror as she began to fix her makeup.
"You may come in!" Skadi and Loki called at the same time.
A servant boy came in through the chamber doors and bowed, "The All-mother and The All-father would like to see you for dinner."
"Is that all?" Loki asked.
"Yes," the servant boy rushed out which made Skadi smile.
