One Last Night, Orion

CHAPTER 9

I do not know what he just answered but my heart keeps on beating so fast. I don't understand why I actually asked him those and I felt so embarrased. Tho he already answered my question our eyes still got stocked to each other. We are both breathing heavily. All I know is that I have lung disease but not I think I got also heart problems. My heart keeps on pounding I want to looked away but I was drowned by his gaze.

We stayed for almost 5 minutes? More than? I don't know exactly how long is that but he was the one who put an end to what we are doing a minute ago. I looked down as he turned his back on me.

That was.. that was so embarassing. Gosh! Nakakahiya.

He looked back at me again and I tilt my head up to look at him also. We both wanted to say something but there is something that stopping us to do so.

"Ahm Faustina ah-"

"Glenn I -"

Para kaming baliw dito na hindi maituloy ang gustong sabihin. I just want say that I have to go na because the lunch break was over.

Glenn called my name and right after I looked at his direction.. I saw him walking towards at me again. Wala na namang tigil sa pagbilis ng tibok ang puso ko.
I saw tissue on his hand and he wiped it on the side of my lips. Before I could react somebody knocked on the door. I jumped a bit in shock.

"Go to the kitchen. Hide yourself." He said and I went fast to his kitchen to hide myself. Mabuti na rin ito dahil baka magtaka lalo ang ibang empleyado kapag nakita akong nasa  opisina ng boss nila.

Until now, I can't breathe. Sobrang nakaka-baliw yung nararamdaman ko kapag lumalapit si Glenn. Maybe because I'm not used to this near to some guy aside from dada and Yuri.

Dahil nga lang ba do'n?  Biglang sabi ng isip ko. YES, dahil lang doon. I assured to myself. Tinignan ko ang oras and 1:30pm na. Malamang hinahanap na ako sa Department. Sumilip lang ako sandali and nag uusap pa din si Glenn at sekretarya niya yata.

"Okay Sir. I'll update you tomorrow." When his secretary leave his office. He walked to the kitchen and offers me ditch my training. Hindi ko naman kasi gawain at isa pa, ako student sya naman may ari nito. Lalong mapapatagal ang ilalagi ko sa company niya kung magsasayang ako ng oras para mag cut no? 

"What? Do you even hear yourself? Akala mo naman napakadali lang na umalis ng ganoon lang na walang sapat na rason." Ang dami ko pa talagang gagawin. He just pestering me. I was like talking to a devil trying to convinced me to ditched. 

"Fine. Sabay ka na lang sakin umuwi mamaya. If that's okay with you?" Glenn said.

"Okay. Bababa na ako. Late na naman ako at talagang magtataka na sila kapag nakita pa tayong magkasama and guess what? galing  pa ko sa office mo, Sir Miller." Kinuha ko na ang bag ko at naglakad na palabas ng opisina  niya. I run to the elevator and pressed the 16th floor. I felt nervous again as my feet touches the Department. 

Everyone looked at my direction as they saw me entering. I just bowed my head and went directly to my place. Some staff was still looking at me here in my table. Why? As if i do something bad. You just have lunch with the boss Tina... I pinched myself with that thought. I started to proofread again the articles.
