She was so naive holding on to his heart instead of her's;
his cold demeanor wasn't a charm, it was a curse.
She loved chasing him more than her precious sleep;
she was his medicine but poison was a drug he decided to keep.

He had her for free because she didn't know her prize
and he enjoyed staying in 2 star hotel when he can't afford the 5.
She was a board game you play when your connection's lost;
She liked the attention but at what cost?

"Maybe one day he'll know what i'm worth," she said;
but she didn't give him a chance to realize that.
She kept healing his heart while neglecting her own
and when he lost his kingdom,  she gave up her throne.
