We walked about 3 blocks until we to our hang out, the Midnight Café.

Everyone hangs out here.

So I've been saying that Rider is cute but I never told you what he actually looked like.

He was about 7'8, and had black hair.

He looked emo.

He had red eyes which was an unusual color.

I suppose it's contact lenses.

He also had...fangs.

Weird.

"So, Rider, what about your parents?"

"Parents? Oh, I live alone."

Half of me was saying "Aw, so sad." The other half was saying, "You can live with me."

But instead I said:

"Oh."

"What happened to them?"

"Well, my dad went off on a trip and never returned. My mom was sick and......she died so....."

"Aw, I'm really sorry."

"I am too."

"Look. I shouldn't have brought it up. I'm sorry-"

"It's fine. Don't worry about it."

"But I feel terrible now."

Kaitlin shook her drink.

"I'll be right back." She said.

"Look. It's fine about my parents. Pretty girl like you shouldn't worry."

He smiled.

Ugh! I'm gonna melt!

"You think I'm pretty?"

"Gorgeous, stunning, beautiful."

I blushed.

"First time someone's ever called me that."

"Your kidding."

"I'm not. I'm not very popular around here."

"Well, looks like we're the same."

"Please, with your looks I bet girls would be lining up at your door."

He rolled his eyes.

His perfect eyes...

"Please. I'm far from perfect. Trust me."

"Whatever you say."

"You know it's not just looks that matter. It's personality too."

"Yeah. You're right."

"That's why I want to get to know you better."

I blushed.

"Stop making me blush!"

"Sorry, you are just so perfect."

I felt my cheeks get redder.

He chuckled.
