Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14

Lisanna's POV

"Thank you, Lisanna-san." Wendy politely said as soon as I placed her and Carla's order on their table.

I smiled at her as a reply before facing the two girls sitting in front of her. "Would you like me to get you anything too?"

The girl with a straight navy blue hair glanced up at me from the book she's been reading. She curved her lips into a small smile as she shook her head before averting her attention back to her book.

"Oh, I do!" The other girl beside her chirped. Her dark green hair was fixed in a dutch braid and unlike the navy blue haired woman beside her, she's a cheerful one.

It has almost been a year since they both joined our guild. Fiona's the one who rarely smile and would always have a stoic face. The other one is Elyse, a complete opposite of Fiona.

"Alright. What would you want?"

She purses her lips and tapped her chin, thinking deeply of what she'll get. Her face brightened, sign that she's finally decided.

"I would like to— Eh?"

As she was about to say her order, a loud crash was heard from across the guild hall. Our eyes darted to see none other than Natsu who just threw a table at a tan skinned man with a long chocolate colored hair tied in a knot.

The man was able to control the table and make it fly on the other direction but the pissed look on his face tells that he's not gonna let it end just like that. With irk marks forming on his forehead, he charged onto Natsu.

I sweat dropped.

They really don't get along, do they?

"Natsu really likes to pick a fight." Elyse giggled.

Fiona just sighed as she eyed them with boredom. "And of course, Dalton won't hold back, too."

Dalton also joined the guild a year ago along with these women. The three of them were friends and go jobs as a team. The first time I introduced them to the guild, Natsu, being his usual self, challenged Dalton into a fight and just by remembering that makes me feel embarrassed.

"Go Natsu~!" Happy cheered above them.

Carla face palmed. "They really are best friends."

Wendy and I chuckled nervously.

"Why you-?! You dumbass Salamander!"

Natsu grinned. "Ha! Now what?!"

We watched as Dalton grabbed Natsu by his vest and threw him somewhere. Our jaw dropped when he landed on the table where Gray was eating peacefully.

My pupils dilated at the scene.

"Oh boy..." Wendy sulked in her seat. Elyse watched with her face full of amusement and Fiona, much to my surprise, seems to look interested in what's gonna happen now.

Gray glared at the dragon slayer who was now rubbing the back of his head with a pout on his face. It took a moment for Natsu to notice Gray's sharp stares. In a brief second, a loud bang was heard from hitting their foreheads together.

"What'ya looking at huh, Elsa?!"

"You ain't a real dragon so stop flying around then land onto someone's table, you moron!"

Knowing that this mess started early in the morning, the guild hall will be chaotic again soon. This kind of scene that happens everyday is one of the things that I don't want to lose, this still makes a part of me calm and homey despite their rowdiness.
