Margaret was returning,
from the vast U S, of A.
She was rightly quite bemused
and she had a lot to say.Little children who bow to
that strange cartoon mouse,
Glued to their screens,
Often trapped in their house.Isolated living- neighbours who
do not know your name.
She said it made her sad,
and that it was a shame. In Kenya - Margaret told me
Children always play outside.
Imagination fuels them,
it's in nature they take pride.Kids - learn to care for nature,
The community cares for them
We trust in our society
Every member is their friend.I could not help but wonder
whether something has been lost
We've modernised our lifestyles
But maybe at great cost?
